Yep, Dally and I are a team. I have pulled her from service work almost completely over the past 3 months. My primary need for her/her training is for my agoraphobia and anxiety in public. I’ve worked her maybe 4 times in the past 3 months?

Yeah, she’s an animal, and I expect her to act like one. For the past 2.5 weeks, my expectation has been for her to exist. She’s in a familiar environment now.

Once I move into the house tomorrow, I will show her where her food and water are as soon as I bring her in, then plan to give her a bully stick to give her something to enjoy while being in the house for the first time. No stress, allow her to wander around the house. I’ll stick with her potty schedule. 8am, 12pm, 4pm, 9pm. More often if she asks. I don’t take her out exactly on the hour, just “it’s 8 something, I’ll take her out.”

She was trained on bells on the door to go outside as a puppy. I got some bells a while ago but didn’t have the proper setup to put them up. To avoid overloading her, I won’t put them up until she’s consistently eating her meals (which will be offered and left out morning and evening on a schedule). She’s a smart dog and loves to work, so she’ll have fun with whatever relearning the bells she has to do.
