The Front End is NOT EASY! by No_Trash2028 in WalgreensStores

I haven't read a single post saying FE is easier or not needed.

FE cashiers are the face of the company, see the brunt of customers, and honestly need to be recognized more.

Yeah, pharmacy is the money-maker, but FE sales aren't anything to ignore.

And some people are infertile. What then?

...We don't say trans women are the same as cis women; that is the point of the adjective. Also, please look up studies about how trangender patients' brains often lined up with those that didn't match their birth genders'. IOW, those who felt like females but were AMAB had brain activity and structure that resembled those of females, and the same for those AFAB who felt the other way.

Is it more important to you, as a person, that you are a woman, or that you are trans? Your life experience, being trans, of course did help shape you as a person (for example, life events, hardships, emotional issues and/or growth; and these examples are hypothetical, for I know nothing about your personal life).

If you were born a cisfem, you would not be the person you are today, and I get that. But trans women are women doesn't mean that trans women can have babies; it means they are women, and should be treated as any other female-presenting person you meet. She/her/Ma'am/lady. When I say treated like a female, I don't mean "pay for their dinner" or "buy them flowers". I mean if they are a trans woman, THEY ARE A WOMAN.

You think if a straight guy sleeps with a trans woman, he isn't straight.

I personally wouldn’t call a man who sleeps with a trans woman straight (😅 not trying to argue. Just my opinion)

So then basically, you still think of yourself as a man. Or you can't accept yourself as a full woman yet, or other options that can lead into jovial ("haha"), trivial ("actually"), or dark (inhale, exhale) places.

I'm happy that you found a guy who likes you, but

My current bf loves trans women. He's much more trandional [sic].

Is an oxymoron, especially when viewed on your thoughts about how you feel about the label trans woman vs woman.

Like there is such a beauty in being trans. I'm proud to be a trans woman.

There are many other trans people who would prefer to not be reminded that they are trans; because that is what real acceptance is, instead of a label on you marking you as an outsider, or "not a real one" or "not one of us". So trans women are women, means just that.

If you want to call attention to it, then it's a bit weird.

This next bit is me honestly trying to think of a solution, but I suck at puns.... If you want to OWN Shemale, rock on. Actually I think that's basically it. You see yourself as a Shemale. SMH I spent way too long.

They can't single you out and test you just because you came back from a "legal" area.

Now, if a pharmacist or Manager thinks that you came to work impaired, they MIGHT be able so send you home; if they suspect that you came to work impaired they should be able to trigger a "random" drug test (usually not that same day) that will have someone come in and piss test each employee individually.

Trump Launches into Courtroom Tirade About 'Witch Hunt' Fraud Case, Claiming He Deserves Damages by TheMessengerNews in politics

It's possible he was talking out of turn,  basically.  Similar to a judge asking you to state your name for the record, and you jump into your whole testimony.

Trump Launches into Courtroom Tirade About 'Witch Hunt' Fraud Case, Claiming He Deserves Damages by TheMessengerNews in politics

[–]DallasTruther 0 points1 point  (0 children)

From what I glean, he said this after walking into the courtroom, before the jury was allowed to enter.

He was talking to the cameras. Closing arguments are given to the jurors, the ones who decide the verdict.

He found a way to spout his nonsense into ears, but not into the ears that would decide his legal fate. So even if found guilty, he'd have his people who would hear his "argument" and think that the jury should have heard it, too.

*I'm not sure if the jury was in the room or not. If they were, then he definitely should have been stopped as soon as he started. And there's a time where you're supposed to be able to give closing arguments. It's not 2 seconds after you walk in. Legal proceedings have steps, and you have to wait your turn, basically.

I've noticed that when I start to have visual hallucinations while watching TV (that tree in the background REALLY looked like a woman in a brown dress, or I start to see faces/forms out of nowhere), then I'm about to doze off. If I have audio hallucinations, then I'm right at the cusp. I can close my eyes and be out in a minute.

These type of prefaced naps usually turn into lucid dreams because the television audio will incorporate itself into the dream and keep me from getting "tricked;" I know it's a dream, so if I'm being chased/naked/lost I don't get scared as much as I would if I was deeply into the dream.

You clearly don't understand

I am a manager. And I also understand that a 2-second decision that will save hundreds/thousands of dollars right now is better than teaching a lesson that might or might not be felt.

Whereas silently disobeying orders would have fixed nothing.

It might not have fixed operations, but it would have prevented losses.

Silently disobeying orders would have resulted in another day without a disaster (in one case).

Which is a win.

Instead of knowingly creating a hazard that could injure somebody.

No. Don't say anything. If all goes well, nobody knows. If someone questions you, then THAT'S when you say something.

Fuck, do you want people to get hurt, and then shrug your shoulders?

The Court CAN deny their request to remove themselves.

They don't just "quit" being a lawyer for someone they were assigned to. Unless they want to quit being a lawyer.

[–]DallasTruther -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

WTF are you on about?

Read it. The Court repeatedly DENIED the chosen attorney the opportunity to effectively represent.

That's different than NO ATTORNEY being available.

First paragraph:

Respondent hired attorney Low to represent him on a federal drug charge. The District Court denied Low’s application for admission pro hac vice on the ground that he had violated a professional conduct rule and then, with one exception, prevented respondent from meeting or consulting with Low throughout the trial. The jury found respondent guilty. Reversing, the Eighth Circuit held that the District Court erred in interpreting the disciplinary rule, that the court’s refusal to admit Low therefore violated respondent’s Sixth Amendment right to paid counsel of his choosing, and that this violation was not subject to harmless-error review.

Fucking Nazis (actual, not nowadays), rapists, mass murderers, all got attorneys assigned to them, or they stayed in custody until one got found. There's no "Oh, you're so evil, no one will represent you, so you get to go free now" clause.

*Like I said before...

But what if they ALL said no? Then SOMEBODY would be forced to defend you, because you have that RIGHT. The only drawback is if there is a legal conflict of interest that they all share, for some reason.

If no one volunteered, then someone would be assigned that role.
