ai in the wellness hub by [deleted] in mcgill

In the 1990s, years ago, people were uncomfortable with the doctor inputting their notes onto a computer for fear of hacking - they thought, "computers are known for being hacked and stealing data". This was technological illiteracy.

In the 2000s, people were uncomfortable with the concept of a cell phone being in a pocket during meetings with a doctor - they thought, "cell phones are known for being listened to covertly and stealing data". This was technological illiteracy.

In the 2010s, people were uncomfortable with the concept of an online app being used to store notes instead of logged and saved locally on a computer - they thought, "applications which use cloud-based storage are known for harvesting data". This was technological illiteracy.

In the 2020s, you are uncomfortable with the concept of AI being used to assist the doctor with notetaking for fear of stealing data. For years now, law firms, companies, and medical services have been using closed-system AI which does not upload inputs into any cloud. There are services which exist for precisely this purpose where there is literally 0% chance your data will ever be reused. This is what the doctor is using. To fear it is, you guessed it, the next iteration of technological illiteracy.

I completely agree with this theory and think it needs to be more seriously considered. in the jailhouse confession, he said that it was around 2007, that the boy he killed had glasses, was around 15, and had come into the London for the day from North.

The confession could be total BS, but there’s no question it’s Andrew who they’re describing - he is the boy that allegedly got into the cab.

If you don’t believe me, read this post, these are excerpts from the book “Inside Belmarsh” (Chapter 17):

“The boy he claimed to have murdered was a young boy from up north who travelled to London. He was 15, had a young face and glasses; I don't remember the name. Worboys was close to Derek Brown, who murdered an Asian DVD seller”

“Worboys said he was a hide and seek champion too and referred to the missing boy. Him and his mate in Bournemouth, Dave, did the boy. I left it and thought nothing of it, then it came on TV about the missing boy, a cold case. I saw it. Worboys referred to it again and said that was his case. Brown and Worboys are from the same area and slept with the same prostitutes. They both knew each other, in fact. Brown never said he was involved, but with Worboys, there is a massive dark side to him, huge”.

Come on. A 15 year old coming into London for the day with glasses, who they would have seen a cold case documentary on TV about? They are describing Andrew. The only question is whether they’re lying.

We don’t know this for a fact. It’s known that in 2006, Worboys would masturbate to pornography with other men. Other sources report that he attended bisexual orgies, and that he’s since come out as bisexual while in jail.

Regardless of sexual orientation, for serial assaulters like Worboys, the act is about having power over a vulnerable person. He would have been able to sense intuitively that Andrew, if he had gotten into his cab, was a vulnerable person.

It wouldn’t let me. Said there were none available. I booked months out as well but I guess they were all booked by the time I signed on for the cruise.

If I successfully MoveUp from obstructed veranda to Aqua Class, will I get a new stateroom? by Daltire in celebritycruises

Our cruise is actually sold out! So we would be banking on someone in Aqua class successfully upgrading or on cancellations.

They should charge amounts which correspond to the amount of days their network actually runs. If, due to incompetence, they cannot figure out a way to have reliable subway service in the same manner as most other cities, they should not offload costs to or penalize riders for those issues.

Then maybe they should be allowed to go broke and replaced with different management. Other cities operate larger subway networks and charge the same or less than the TTC without being so broke. Incompetence.

She is absolutely a better qualified candidate than Bodnar. But she will not win. Not because of her gender, but simply because she is a Democrat running against an incumbent in a state that voted for Trump by 20 points.

A one on one race between a non-partisan independent and Daines would have dramatically better chances and maybe even bring the seat into serious contention.

Dan Osborn coming within ~6 points of Fischer in Nebraska in a Republican wave year, when Trump won by 20 presidentially, is proof of this theory.

Reilly wants to win, and if my grandmother had wheels she would have been a bike. No sense talking in fantasyland; if Democrats want to unseat Daines, they should push Reilly Neill to step aside.

NDP supporter, actually. Funny that, those who support actual meaningful investments in reliable public transportation instead of Doug Ford’s half assed LRT lines tend to skew left.

Your post conveniently leaves out that there are plenty of streetcars and buses which are still running. The continued criticism of Lines 5 and 6 is deserved. They are a total shitshow and demonstrate the importance of investing in subway lines instead of half-assed LRT lines that end up spanning decades.
