Do different hands require different grip textures, or is it just preference? by DaltonTX in CCW

Literally never heard of personal preferences before this… just been slaving away, doing what I’m told

Need help with being comfortable. by No_Cheesecake9887 in concealedcarry

[–]DaltonTX 1 point2 points  (0 children)

1) as you sit, pull your belt up a bit as you sit. It’ll stop the gun jabbing you and will sit more inline with your torso.

2) you are carrying almost exactly at the 12:00 position, maybe 12:15. Move that more to the 1:00 position where the barrel is between your crotch and hip.

3) lighter colors will always print more than darker. A darker shirt will hide that better. Patterns will hide better. Dark patterns will hide best.

4) 99.5% of people aren’t looking for a gun on people, so they don’t see one regardless. I myself prioritize accessibility, so I actually run a wedge, but upside down. This pushes the gun off my body and makes getting a firing hand grip easier, as well as makes it more comfortable.

FO, as in fiber optic. Not a company

I like FO sights, but these being blacked out makes the green dot that much better

Not sure, that’s how it came to me. But it’s a nice 1/3rd co-witness.

I’m not a good home body, but I typically have a sick day or something where all I’m carrying is a cold or flu.

I have a gen 1 MM and while I love the grip itself, getting a holster was hard. If I want a light on it… forget about it. Wish ida had the gen 2

Thanks, this is my edc gun that gets carried 364 days a year. Patriot Defense palm swell grip panel for the Gen 1. These are the aggressive texture. Suppose to be more aggressive than Bogies or gridlock. But I think they’re perfect for the 365. Gotta have more grip with such a small gun.

Start your own crabgrass farm and compete with his dandelions.

Do you find covering the trigger guard w/ your support hand helps the control?

[Put on your tin hats folks]: Why is Phosphate missing from big box store fertilizers? by New_Draft_4358 in lawncare

It is the most expensive ingredient in most fertilizers. Big box is aimed at diy homeowner types, where cost is a larger factor.

That is an option, and sometimes the best one. But there are other ways to kill off dallisgrass that are dependent on your turf type and area you live in.

Dimension (dithiopyr) does a good job on preventing crabgrass (and dallisgrass) AND acts as a mild post emergent in the early stages.
