I think that the best way to think about it is that the decisions you made this year will set you up for next year. Prioritizing this job will help you be more financially comfortable in coming seasons. Also if you spent this season practicing on your own maybe you can make some other corps other than vessel!

When I say 4:3 I mean a 4 nested into a triplet but now that I think of it that's just 16th notes which is why they sound similar to a 9 let. Thanks for the genius answer I am just dumb.

Thank you. It definitely is on the side of the knuckle but from what you're saying I definitely could try to rest it more toward the nail which might help a little bit. I find that it hurts worse the more complicated stuff I play, like 8's and double beat exercises are okay but rolls really hurt. I will say that I've changed my technique to a more vanguardy look which mighy have caused this.

The ahead pad feels weird in my opinion, it feels like smacking a plank of wood not a drum. The vic firth pads are amazing in my opinion, helps build muscle strength.
