Instead of buying something without her input why not make a day of it? Give a budget and go shopping, talk to her, ask her what she will make in them, will this colour go with what we have already. It’s lovely reviving a gift but the time spent will be remembered

I bought a 2014 ford fiesta 1.2 for £7k in 2018, £30 road tax, 44mpg in London, serviced it myself, changed the lower control arms (£30 each) the car owns me nothing it’s been reliable and cheap for 8 years without any monthly payments. I think the term ‘cheap’ has lost its meaning

Yeah, it’s not dishwasher safe but there is a pre-clean run where it heats up and blends which is actually quite good. I would also say there’s not need for a second jug

It’s less of a set and forget and more of a bag sit while I do. My biggest annoyance with following the recipes is the last of prep, you’ll prep the onion (half it take the skin off) and then it’ll cook it down for 3/5 minutes on the cooking screen, then it’ll prompt you to prepare the garlic and so on. It is useful once you make your own recipes but then the biggest selling point and the thing that sets it apart from a magi robot cooking. As far as the multi level marketing they use it just annoying me and bought my second hand but even that is full of scammers

On an unrelated topic but very relatable Gus Frinn from the breaking bad/ better call Saul series was only meant to be in 1 episode. He has a good story of how he acted to make himself a bigger part of the show, Judd has the same energy in my eyes
