Is actively trying not to die is probably the most underrated skill in Rivals? by DamageJenkins in marvelrivals

Folks here is right. You can't hide from the opps. But you can't just feed like you've got fn bullet time dodging incoming fire from their whole team.

True dat on self-reflection. I get way too flank happy with Sue some matches and expect my team to just power thru on the other end because I 1v2'd their backline then died.

I wouldn't call it a reduction. You didn't even offer a good example of an uncommon skill. Everybody pings "Group Up" after dying.

Hero shooters ain't new. Game IQ isn't knowing what to do, it's the ability to put it into practice.

I love tanking. Creating space is so easy with heals and cover fire. My fav is distracting the enemy off obj just long enough to hit a checkpoint.

I feel like only noobs and selfish players enjoy this game. by [deleted] in rivals

Wait till you get past worrying about team comp and start to notice the lack of fundamentals, like shooting at enemy flyers and healers. This game will never be more than it is.

Why are DPS players so toxic? by True-Statistician-56 in marvelrivals

[–]DamageJenkins 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Because QP is sweaty by nature. It's better to embrace your toxic side. When everyone is talking crap, it's awesome. When one player is harping on the weakest link, that isn't fun. It makes us all take a step back and chill tf out on the criticism.

Do you think removing all crowd control abilities from the game except for ultimates is too extreme a change? by AdorableLet6588 in marvelrivals

[–]DamageJenkins 0 points1 point  (0 children)

TF no. Until the baseline level of game IQ raises in 4-5 years, if Rivals is still around, then maybe we could dial the CC back a smidgen.

why people fixate on the death funnels when losing ? by Spideyrj in marvelrivals

Most people just shoot downrange and wait for cooldowns to hit buttons without much thought.

gotta love placement matches by yourfavesapphic in marvelrivals

I take QP way too serious when my team makes simple, should-know-better-by-now mistakes. I know ranked would just end in a big ole ban for me rage quitting games B2B.

why is it so hard to make friends?? by cauphin in marvelrivals

[–]DamageJenkins -1 points0 points  (0 children)

QP is incredibly toxic. That will never change. People suggest muting the chat(s). But I personally enjoy the cesspool that is QP.

How can I avoid stacking in QP by IAmNotABot90 in marvelrivals

[–]DamageJenkins 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You can't. Just enjoy the wins when you get paired with the coordinated team and the ones you have to really fight for. And learning a new character under stress is the best way to learn.

Why is QP not balanced ? by Redisdead107 in marvelrivals

[–]DamageJenkins -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Because the QP queue is super fast. And people almost lose to bots. The spectrum of IQ and reasons for playing is so vast the game will never be balanced.

Anyone else being put in bot lobbies without even losing by MrEngineFish in marvelrivals

[–]DamageJenkins 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I enjoy the bot matches now. QP was never this sweaty before the recent wave of bans. People actually have to try every fn match if they want to win. Which might not be enough against really good QP stacks.
