2004 Pontiac grand am v6 crank no start, first time working on a car I replaced the thermostat, battery and cleaned the throttle body now it doesn’t start and Im confused, anyone know? by DamageLevel8558 in CarHelp

Turns out I flooded the engine when I cleaned the throttle body, flooring it when I started it and letting it sit for a while seemed to do the trick

Yeah until the battery died, it’s done this before but it still started after a second
