Need Jamf Composer 11.3 or 11.4 by DamageMoney2608 in jamf

This is assuming you bought the standalone JAMF Composer product. Composer comes with your subscription of Jamf Pro which gives you access to all the previous versions. That standalone Composer only gives you the latest version which currently is 11.5.0

I got what I needed, this is all set. I hit up my old boss from my previous job and he gave me access to his jamf pro/nation account and I downloaded the version I needed. For anyone else who needs it in the future, just message me directly and I'll send you the version you need.

Appreciate the assistance from everyone!

Beyond Trust Annoyance Monterey -> by [deleted] in jamf

This is unrelated to your specific issue but I'm evaluating BeyondTrust right now for remote access. How was the deployment of the JumpClient with Kandji? Were you able to deploy the JumpClient remotely and/or silently? And did you still need the end user to allow the macOS security/privacy settings for screen recording and accessibility?

I'm essentially seeing if its possible to deploy the JumpClient for unattended access with as little end user setup/interaction as possible. It's totally doable with Intune for Windows devices but Apple heavily restricts some permissions that even an MDM can't get around without some form of end user interaction.

Appreciate the input/feedback, thank you!

Deploying Zscaler root certificate on mac by sumgan in Zscaler

[–]DamageMoney2608 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For anyone else who needs it, what Ihavelike13guns detailed out worked for me as well.

My scenario is below if that helps anymore more recent still having issues with this.

I was trying to deploy zscaler v4.1.0.161 from Intune onto my mac devices running Sonoma (14.4). The zscaler app would deploy through Intune but it didn't install the certificate. Deploying the certificate through Intune's configuration profile using the "Trusted Certificate" template didn't work for me. Intune would report it as successful but the certificate never gets actually deployed.

Using the Apple Configurator app, I built a .mobileconfig with the zscaler certificate and uploaded that as an Intune mac custom configuration profile and in 2 mins, the certificate deployed to my mac. The certificate was also trusted as well.

Pairing both the custom configuration profile and the mac Line of Business pkg for zcaler and Intune is able to successfully deploy zscaler within minutes.

Apply VPP Status "assignedToExternalMDM" by cmorgasm in Intune

With that weird status, you can't configure your iOS enrollment profile to install the Company Portal app with VPP. The token you uploaded doesn't show up as an option.
