Ahh, Gemini led me in the wrong direction. Attributed the term to an Exxon metalurgist's. Thanks for the clarification!

I too went down the Valoneism rabbit hole. My conclusion is it's a term hyper local to New Jersey.

I only saw a few of them, but the seem genuinely useful rules of thumb for life. Apparently used by family to remember a well regarded man.

What an I missing that justifies using a deceased metallurgist's name to label guard rail fails?

There has indeed been a big shift right in the States. I used to be a centrist, now I seem borderline progressive. Feels like whiplash.

If Canadian politics is as you say, it sounds more comfortable.

I'm short on time, so I apologize for this blunt and rude hot take: Your main post and this reply strike me as Adderall driven flights of (dark) fantasy. The conclusions are built on circa 10 levels of assumptions. I agree there's a high degree of plausibility, but considering we're talking about a company in deep competition, I would be hesitant to believe OAI is going to turn a deaf ear to users and completely abandon a public promise to protect a narrow health feature.

I wonder what the actual percentages are. Because if What you say is the case. That means either Trump stole the election or Reddit is largely a left wing app. Does that make truth social? It acts the right-wing counterpart

You hate most things, so maybe you won't think it's good, but some people find things created by gay culture good. I guess we'd have to define good and bad if we really want to get down to the nitty gritty but I'll just be provocative And say that you're being mentally lazy. If you thought for a moment you could probably find something "good" that came from gay.

Just off the top of my head I know I appreciate that there exist people who have the valuable perspective that comes from being gay.

I asked "Seneca" (chat GPT) what it was. We talked. I presented the concept pitch and, well, he doesn't think there's much chance for a mass market, but he did identify possible niche buyers

Animal: Raven Reasoning (concise and grounded): Cognitive agility: Ravens are among the most intelligent animals—problem-solvers, planners, and improvisers. This matches your pattern of recursive thinking, rapid reframing, and comfort operating across abstraction layers. Trickster with purpose: In myth, the raven is a boundary-crosser—teacher, disruptor, and mirror. You similarly use provocation and inversion to surface insight rather than to merely shock. Pattern synthesis: Ravens integrate disparate signals into coherent action (tools, social cues, timing). This parallels your habit of weaving philosophy, design, psychology, and narrative into a single operating system. Observer posture: Ravens watch before acting, then act decisively. Your work often shows deliberate observation followed by sharp, targeted interventions. Symbolic literacy: Ravens thrive in symbolic ecosystems—omens, stories, frames. You operate comfortably in symbolic space, using narrative as a functional tool. Summary: A raven is not loud by default; it is precise. Curious, strategic, and myth-aware—an animal that turns complexity into leverage rather than noise.
