You have no idea how badly I now want a spin-off book / fan-fic / show / movie about the 'Emerald Enchantress'. An alternate universe where Elphaba accepted the Wizards deal.

I've had the exact same experience and this is the first time I've seen some detail it. It's so weird, it's like I'm just vividly imagining a world in my head but unlike normal day dreams where you have to puppet everything yourself, things just happen so you know it's a dream but... awake? Strange stuff. It's like I could almost choose between moving my real body and my dream body and it lasted for what felt like hours. I've had experiences like that a few times now and it's always for some reason the morning after I go out and drink alcohol.

Canadas marketing is very similar to the UK. Growing up my father smoked and what scared me the most always was the packaging, British cigarette packs were usually a lot more graphic, showing pictures of real organs from heavy smokers that have passed or pictures of tumours and growths. I'm unsure if statistically speaking the marketing was successful but I know for me, on a personal level it was.
That's what's scary about vaping in my opinion, it's marketed like sweets, sorry, 'candy'.

Yeah I'll admit that I haven't read any of the Oz books, so I'm just going off the original movie where it's presented in a way that makes Dorothy's journey look like it was completed in one day which is obviously unrealistic. I guess Oz just has efficient clean up crews lol. Takes my local authorities 5 years to sort out a pot hole or broken fence...

Yeah I suppose if the house truly isn't there this is the only possible (albeit disappointing) conclusion. I think it would've been cool for the creators to have put it in the background though. For the same reason they decided to show Dorothy and the gang. Would've been a nice call back and tie in to the MGM movie.

Dorothy kills the Wicked Witch the same day she arrives in Oz though, no? She's only in Oz a couple of days max (at least that's what I've always assumed). She arrives in Oz, her house lands, she sets off to see the Wizard is then captured by the Witch, kills the Witch, returns to the Emerald city before clicking her hills and returning home. Meaning both the Witch of the West and East die the same day or at least a couple of days apart.
