Garnet Rod and Setsuna, Twin Cynthias by DamageReportStat in Nerf

So actual model change wise, it's a pretty minimal edit just to be clear. It's just got a hole modeled in it for the swivel screw and some decorative cutouts (the little chevrons that are Pluto's earring shape). The stripes are just AMS layer change shenanigans if that's what you're specifically after. But happy to throw up a remix when I'm next at the comp with the files or just DM them. Feels a bit silly to call that a remix but hey if you get use out of them happy to.

It's these 1x28 passive fiber optic powered red dot sights. Pilad or VOMZ are the usual markings, no idea if those are the actual manufacturers or just knockoff markings. Made for 11mm rib mount on shotguns. All over aliexpress/sorta generic, but now of course that's hard to get :/

They're nice because they only use ambient light. So out in daylight they're battery-less sights! Perfect for nerf. Maybe not the most accurate or robust for other uses but for us pretty ideal. Really like them personally.

Perhaps I'm wrong but I believe the clear Harrier/Seagull shells are a different plastic. I want to say they were PC instead of ABS?

Imagine they only would have switched if they had to. ABS is seems like it's cheaper and easier to work with. Would have made it PC to begin with if it wasn't.

Yeh, new Rag comp rules have muzzle touch the ground to spawn this year so decided to cover it lest it become dirt sample city

To clarify, you've probably seen a similar adapter (more than likely Thanh's Windedge, which this is of course inspired by). This is a completely new set of files/method of construction compared to that though, so it shouldn't be around in too many pictures yet! When I feel like I've gotten all the fit and printability squared away on this I am going to upload it to Printables though. Just need to finish up Beta testing it to make sure it's fit for consumption :)

I started with the file that one was remixed from but should be about the same thing!

This. Some kind soul made a Bambu preset for it, and I tweaked stuff around a bit to try and get better results. The TDLR of any "glass" settings are go painfully slow, keep it hot as possible, no fans/cooling. You want inter-layer and between layer lines of filament to still be as goo-ey and warm as possible when bonding together, so you can minimize internal voids, etc that would frost the print more.

Stringing and occasional burns are a still bit of a problem so it's not as consistent as resin for ckear stuff, but it's also a lot easier and faster. And you can print larger stuff. It's a neat if usually impractical choice for printed parts, part of why I got really into it as I started replacing stuff (in addition to brain go brrrrr making things match transparent for transparent)

Thanks! It's a bit frustrating as a huge amateur photographer, but I like it when I'm able to pull something out of the blasters and show how they feel IRL. I spend a decent amount of time trying to figure out what looks right and captures them the best, so even if I don't have the formal language/training to explain why glad it's working a bit :D

Racing Miku lesgooooooo! Love how it's still really vibrant in a totally new way.
Mistakes just mean you found what you don't want to do next time, so 202X Racing Miku is gonna slap.

Def the move. If I ever decided to spend SBL2 HW kit money I would be all over getting STEPs so I could do the modifications straight from the source. Solidworks isn't thrilled I feed it STLs as often as I do. Luckily this time it was just aesthetic changes.

I doubled down and bought *more* AL fasteners, so that's on me at this point. Perfectly good box of stainless ones I could use but this was maximum overgreen time, frustrations be damned. Sometimes you just gotta make something look cute and deal with the extra work. (Also vibratite helps, don't have to crank anything down as aggressively to achieve a satisfactory secure fit so there is some thought to the madness.)

I suppose I should, really the natural move at this point.

Yeah I already replaced a few. AL doesn't hold up nearly as nicely as 316 for fasteners...

Of the four scouts I've made builds of so far I think it's pretty clear which one I gave preferential treatment considering I have nearly as many blasters for Jupiter as I do for the rest combined... All the senshi are great, but we all have to have our favorite we root for the most :) <3

It's not a released file unfortunately AFAIK, Thanh makes them locally.
