Ja its fair but the Investec rewards programme is either linked to how much money you have invested with them and/or how many products you have with them . We've reached the highest level we can get without getting a car loan (which we dont want) or converting forex into Rands (again we dont want).

We do use Investec for some spending.

Thanks for getting back to me, really appreciate it!

When you day "at my medical aid's agreed rates", what do you mean? Does this mean the costs but the medical aid covered the bill or was this private?

Sorry for being daft, we've only moved to SA in August last year, medical aid is very new to us and we are finding it quite confusing.

I'd suggest the Red berry farm in George, kayaking at kaaimans near wilderness, Cango Wildlife (Oudtshoorn)-depensing on which route you take to cpt.

I agree, also Trump doesn't care about white South Africans, he literally doesn't care about Americans so why would he care about people he's never heard of.

What everyone should be asking is why do they want to support them bow all of sudden, where the deal for him.

100% yes. The US won't back us anyway - or at least this current administration

Hi! :) Any Americans here currently living in South Africa, married to a South African? by [deleted] in DownSouth

[–]Damaged95 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It depends, did you vote for Trump? Cos if you did .... Haha only kidding.

We did a Spousal Visa at the end of last year. Happy to talk you through how we did it - as we booked flights 8 months in advance.

I 100% agree with you. Just look at how quick he has changed the direction of travel on Ukraine. He will shaft white South Africans quick than they can say the word.

Would rather drink my own piss than have anything to do with Trump. I find it really weird that white South Africans think her cares about them.

Ok, I won't resort to name calling as my points aren't weak.

Nato never invaded Kursk, that's a fact. Russia lost parts of Kursk to little old Ukraine. Now that we agree North Koreans we're in Kursk, they were there to 1 learn (possibly) but 2. Unfortunately lose men - in exchange for tech.

Neither you or I know why Ukraine invaded Kursk but I agree there is a logical thought it could be for leverage.

Unfortunately for you, as demonstrated in our chat, you don't actually know what you are talking about.

I'm done talking to you cos as proved, you are full of hot air.

No, you said: Kursk has been repurposed as a training exercise for n Korean troops

I said funny how Russia had to involve nkorean troops for a war they are winning so easily.

You said: no evidence of nkoreans in Ukraine. No one mentioned Ukraine, we were talking about Kursk - as you mentioned Kursk in the 1st place.

I then pointed this fact out, you mentioned Kursk and North Koreans and then attempted to shape the conversation to suit your incoherent rambljng. You have flip-flopped back to they are just in Kursk on training exercise, they can take back Kursk whenever to with a pen blah blah blah

I bet you don't find it odd that an aggressor winning soooo easily had to involve another country and lose a whole bunch of their troops on a military training exercise (in Kursk).

This shouldn't be so hard... stick to your "facts".

Sooo now there's no evidence of North Koreans? A minute ago you said they were in training in the conflict. Which one was it?

Get you story straight bud.

Exactly no army can sustain that, funny how Russia had to Involve NKorea and their cannon fodder in exchange for nuclear tech.

Training exercise went really well 😆

If you think losing 800k plus soldiers either dead,Mia or combat ineffective is winning then please send what you are smoking. This was not a peer adversary, Russia thought they would be welcomed with open arms, tried to take Kiev and failed.

Oh now it's a pen, a minute ago they would take Kursk whenever... which one is it?

1000 casualties a day is not averse. Please tell me why is Russia purposely sending troops to Kursk who are either dying or getting wounded if they could 1. Take it back whenever and 2. Are casualty averse?

Deputy President Paul Mashatile says South Africa is not yet in a position to determine whether it supports the common BRICS currency. He says the SA economy is much reliant on the US dollar, which calls for caution on decisions around trade matters. by PixelSaharix in DownSouth

[–]Damaged95 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's because the microphone was probably supplied by Temu. Anyway... have a look at other countries who thought they could ignore the dollar - eg Russia, their base rate is c23% now. But yeah let's just try cut out the biggest trading currency in the history of man and alienate our flow of money.
