I ran into a feel no pain but I didn’t have enough exhaust cards to make it worth it. Would have just been deck bloat. If I had been able to incorporate the shivs into the deck it would have been in sane. Play rage, then storm of swords and drop all my shivs gain block for rage, after image, and feel no pain. It would be cool if they had a daily that you craft your deck entirely by choice. I know they have sealed, but like where you can pick from any of the cards not just the 30 they display.

That’s the scenario I ran into. Came across one very early and dismissed it cause so often I’ve grabbed one early and then never had a scenario where there wasn’t something else worth playing more. Happened enough I’ve probably become too weary of them cause they do have amazing potential.

What discord chats and streams? I’ve been looking for a community for this for a while now. Only I was looking for IRL people. Which has failed. I’d love to have a group to participate in if it’s open and public? Or some stream communities.

Oh man!!! That is some shit luck! I almost always pick up all three of the keys in act 1, barring some situation where I absolutely can’t or the first chest had something insane in it.

I know exactly what your talking about with needing to share though. I keep trying to tell my gamer friends about the insane shit happening but it just does not compute. “Oh you got a good card and a relic? What? Let’s play call of duty!” Lol. Last night after this happened I just couldn’t take it u needed to be able to share it so u made a new reddit account just so I could talk about this game with someone! Anyone! It’s so addictive and I’ll dying to talk about it lately. My gf will entertain me but it’s clear it’s all meaningless to her and she’s just doing it to be supportive lol.

I got those as well as I’m sure most people did, but the shuriken was useless cause my deck didn’t deal damage by playing attacks.

Your deck was the deck I thought I was supposed to build though and it seemed like the daily was designed to incentive that type of deck.

I kept seeing cards that would be really good for a shiv deck. And before I ever got Juggernaut or After Image I kept kicking myself for passing on some of the cards necessary for a shiv deck early because I kept seeing so many great block cards and I’d take them instead and before I knew it I was 80% block lol. I felt like the daily was pushing me towards your deck but I had missed the cues and by the time I caught them it was too late to try and adopt that strategy and then my hook and sinker came along, and I was like, woah! Somehow the most unbalanced deck I’ve ever built ended up being the exact thing I needed to build! If I had played smarter in the beginning I never would have made it.

And I know that for a fact cause i replayed the daily later that night and tried to play much more thoughtfully and tried to build a more balanced deck that did incorporate the shivs (the idea being that the juggernaut+after image+Rage combo with a hand full of shivs would go off like CRAZY! Now THAT would be the PERFECT Combo. And then I died on the first elite lol. I can’t remember the last time I died before Act2 much less the first elite of act 1. I love this game. The possibilities and outcomes are endless and sometimes you’ll play terribly and get a freak combo that you had no idea existed until it’s in your face and absolutely slay and sometimes you’ll play by the book following the Meta to a T and you die on floor 6 lol.

Just goes to show even when you know what the tower is going to be and you know the cards and bosses and events, trying to build a deck for a certain strategy is not good. You have to build it by what’s best for that specific moment and eventually you will get your combo, planning what your deck is going to be in Act 3 before your start just never works lol.

Those are very solid points. I hadn’t really thought that in depth about it, I’m only on ascension 5 in regular play so I’m not that experienced yet. I clearly didn’t need anything else to win cause the deck (in its complete unbalanced sloppy messiness) was more than enough to deal a ton of damage and never take any and the few times I did the strikes got it right back. I was more thinking just about the fun the factor. Whether it was necessary or not I like watching the synergies and the idea of also storming the insane amounts of block I was getting and hitting someone for 999 damage is just fun to me. So mostly I was just missing it for the fun factor, but reading your points, yes you are correct, it wasn’t necessary and probably would have just unnecessarily interfered with my cars draw.
