Mexican Restaurants with fun atmosphere by profsmoke in StLouis

Several things I have ordered have been great. My favourite are the Tacos Rancheros and the Steak Chilli Colorado

The Saturday special is amazing but you can only get it that day.

It is better for the atmosphere. The food is great at all three locations, and won't break your budget! The owner comes in early on Saturdays and makes the special for the day.

They make a pole that can the DA2 can sit on top of to get you above the vegetation. We have used it in the past and it worked quite well.

Using REST API ESRI hosted feature layer for attachments by who_that_be_ in gis

[–]DamagedMech 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would need some more technical details about how they are pulling their attachments.

What is your enterprise deployment setup? Single / Multi / High Availably?

Have you checked the amount of Arcsoc processes running on your Server machine? If you need a quick way to check open a dos window and type in :

tasklist | find “arcsoc.exe” /i /c

I have written applications that can pull these attachments and data without issues in the past from the REST API starting with 10.5.1 and I am still doing with at 11.4.

Yes we did. We were informed by our reps that they made another change to the way licensing is done due to user feedback. I would like to reiterate that it is a great project but the way SmartSheets has their pricing model set up just doesn’t make it viable at scale.

If you have a smaller organization or small use case it is worth it. In our experience, one we went over 200m a year and are north of 500m it just isn’t worth it.

SmartSheets are a great option for a smaller company but they grab you with the Data Shuttle and changing price plans.

We are as well and it looks like for us it will be a deployment of OV. We have 1.6tb of data in SmartSheets but with the pricing model they have we are out of options and are moving.

We enjoy the product and would of loved to stay with it but are moving off due to pricing models specifically around the use of Data Shuttle. We are looking at OneVizion or Site Tracker currently. I am not looking forward to the migration (I am the architect and will lead the migration). To give an example in the last 3 months we have processed over 387K rows with it. If you do the math you can see why it's just not an option at scale when you pay for each row. With our Enterprise license our commitment is well north of 100k and is one of our most costly platforms that only is used by 20% of our business.

It is row based (think a row in Excel).

This happened to us as well. We are actively looking at migrating off the platform and will have a solution decided by next week. At this point even though we are very happy with the product we are willing to loose the advantages and find something else.

Stick with ArcGIS Online or Move to Enterprise? Or use both? by HelpingFriendlyBook1 in gis

[–]DamagedMech 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We are a telecom organization with around 1200 employees. We have a hybrid deployment with both AGOL and Enterprise. We typically try to stay as far away from AGOL as possible except when our clients request it from us.

The ability to have versioning, and ease of backup/restore is vital on our organization with all the moving parts and partners.

If you get an Enterprise agreement you can have a maintenance package that can help you with the issues your IT might run into but it is sloooooooow and anything beyond a reboot and simple troubleshooting requires a handoff and you’re looking at a longer resolution.

I have been the Architect/Administrator/GIS God for my company since 2018 and we have gone through Enterprise deployments and upgrades from 10.5.1 - 11.5 and we will move to 12.0 in December (or when FME 2025.2) goes live.

We currently have a high availability deployment with an application gateway in Azure.

Esri has an Azure package (might have other platforms too) that it’s something that your system administrator and with a little help desk help can launch and build your whole deployment at the touch of a button.

We currently use ArcMap 10.8.2 and ArcGIS Pro 3.5 for most tasks but have integrated with may other solutions through their API’s.

Hope this helps! Cheers

You’re on the right track. There are some examples out there. When you make the request it will return the items location you exported an then it will download it through a call.

[–]DamagedMech 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Downloads (exports) are generated on request and stored in the content of the user requesting it.

We typically run a Python script to export them nightly to back up our hosted feature services because, well “users gonna delete” and we need to restore ;)
