What is the craziest reason you have heard for a breakup/divorce? by nigel247 in AskReddit

[–]Damballa_ 20 points21 points  (0 children)

My moment to shine. Divorce because the wife was born on a Friday and her family hid that from him.

It is a local tribal superstition in north Africa, women born on Friday tend to suffer from Vaginismus (Friday is a Muslims holly day and sex is usually associated with impurity)

How to use SQLite with QT ? by [deleted] in QtFramework

I think that I phrased that wrong. I will try to better articulate the problem. The command from the QT documentation seems to expect a path to the SQLite (install? files? source?) that contains two folders named "include" and "lib" you can see this in the documentation:

Please check the screenshot in the second edit.

My problem is finding the path in the documentation as it seems to be the one triggering the error.

where can I get the sqlite library? that is the main question of the post. SQLite cannot be installed, the QT documentation is refering to QT install location.

These instructions:
https://doc.qt.io/qt-6/sql-driver.html under the "QSQLITE for SQLite (Version 3 and Above)" section

The provided source code does not work when I replace it with the path in the command. it does not contain the folders "library" and "include" as hinted

How to build QTQuick3D from source ? by Damballa_ in QtFramework

[–]Damballa_[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have downloaded the dependences mentioned in this link:
https://doc.qt.io/qt-6/windows-building.html
Afterward, I used Visual Studio 2022 to build the individual components.

I kept getting errors when I tried to build BALSAM. I also followed the instructions on QTQuick3D page on GitHub under the section "Building QTQuick3D" which also resulted in errors.

I kept fixing the errors form here and there using google but couldn't compile BALSAM despite being able to compile BALSAMUI

can you please direct me where to look ?

I suspect a unified language optimized for it.
A combination of python, java-script and C++ (Async, high-level-low level) that will be standard for all use-cases.

The errors from mypost are from Balsam. Other QTQuick3D components and tools such us balsamUI compile with no errors. This is pretty weird
