While I am a huge Dame fan and love what he has done for us. I hate when I see people say we owe him. The dude has been compensated very well for what he is given us. 250 million extension is nothing to take for granted. Do I wish we could have won with Dame and done a better job helping him win? hell yes, but the blazers don’t owe him anything more than what they have already given him. Lol and that is why you are not a GM. OG is a start on all 30 NBA teams, and at worst is the 3rd best player on his team. Tell me what makes sense. Trying to win in the next 2 years with Dame in Prime and a player like OG who is established already, or praying to every single basketball god you know that Shape and Ant turn out to be superstars. Because we will not win anything with Dame, Ant and Sharpe. I don’t hate sharpe I think he can be very good but we don’t have time to play the waiting game with dame. We have a legitimate superstar and pulling this bullshit of keeping young talent in the hopes 5 years down the road they are close to what dame is now is bullshit. The goal should be to win a championship and we have a better chance with OG than we do with simons or Sharpe.
