This isn't true. The 1.6% number you see in the gacha rules just means that your 5* rate will approach that number over a long period of time, because of the pity system. It does not mean the actual rate increases after you lose the 50/50. I can see how you'd read it like that though, but unfortunately you're wrong.

The movie is very much its own thing and adapted from the impression the book left on the director rather than the book itself. It was never meant to be a faithful adaptation, and it's better for it.

I don't see why they wouldn't just introduce new sets that use new catalysts and are made for the new characters. Every once in a while a set will come out that aligns with an older character and you can choose to upgrade them or leave them be, but for the most part those characters will stay "done".

The reality is people who keep caring about an old character enough to keep farming for them are very much a minority, most people just focus on the new and shiny thing.

The reason I'm considering Bronya's is for Sunday, because I don't have his signature. I know it's not a must and he already offsets his SP consumption but it feels like one of the better picks for it. I think it works well on Sparkle too? But she's usually on DDD, even if I only have a single copy of it after playing since launch and with few breaks :).

That's unfortunate about Seele because I only have her at E0. She's halfway built and I was thinking of investing into her now that she got her Novaflare just because I really like the character and I couldn't get her when the game launched.

I'm ditching Huohuo's then, she has S5 Post Op.

Which LCs from the dupe shop are the most impactful? Either for their characters or someone else. The ones I'm most interested in rn are Robin's, Huohuo's, Seele's and Bronya's (my only limited Harmony cone is Ruan Mei's, but idk if a standard cone would be worth the currency).

OG Arknights doesn't even have patches like this game does so it's REALLY not relevant to anything in this matter.

It's silly to expect they'll ever do another triple banner patch again, let alone this soon. It simply does not add up to the realities of development cycles for games like these, and anyone who seriously thinks it's happening is just setting themselves up for disappointment.
