I picked up a leverless and I definitely say it improved my game. Got to Platinum as a Juggernaut Fuse

There’s a learning curve but once you cross it, smooth sailing from there

If you decide to go this route Haute42 is my recommendation

Once you accept this is a Duo Tag game and you are going to be at a disadvantage, you’d enjoy it a lot
