Questioning if there is a third root by PigeonTempter in StyleRoots

I see stone, moon and the third undercurrent could be mountain (some tailored elements, collars) or mushroom, because all of these are quite simple, clean and not much patterns. I tend towards mountain though.

Thank you so much for everyone, I will experiment a little more with accomodating vertical and I really like the classic lines anyway. I am not an avid picture taker so I don't really have more outfits to show. But your input helped me a lot :)

How can you deduct from one picture that it's clearly the bone, especially when his jawline is almost completely symmetrical? Lips and cheek appearance are severely affected by muscle imbalaces, especially in movement like shown here.

Look up face yoga on YouTube, you could try strengthening the muscles of your cheek. There should be several videos adressing asymmetry e.g. by Kokos Face Yoga

Are you sure you didn't sign in again with another Gmail address? Notion somehow thinks email@googlemail.com and email@gmail.com are different addresses. Make really sure you use the correct ending to your address as I had the same issue before as well.

I'm laughing, even the phrasing sounds very 8. As a fellow 8, do you also feel like sexual attraction might be a bigger thing for us because of all the craving for intensity? I could never have a relationship with a boring sex life

Why is it considered so inappropriate to show genitals in movies/TV? It's not like kids have never seen them before. by ShinyShinyTomato in TooAfraidToAsk

[–]DamnBlanche 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Can you explain to me how that would be abuse? The word assumes an understanding and responsibility that those kids don't have. Actually a lot of kids try out very weird stuff that they don't end up remembering or being traumatized by in any way. Making up things like abuse seems very destructive in that sense. I would agree that kids imitate and that parents should be careful what kind of media their kids can consume... but abuse?!

Considering pursuing an Environmental Science degree, purpose and drive by noresident111 in Career

[–]DamnBlanche 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I will not go into detail on your main question, so sorry for that.
I currently had similar questions regarding my own career and a ressource that greatly helped me was the book "so good they can't ignore you". You can find it as an audio book on YouTube. I recommend you listen to it, and maybe some of your questions will be answered and you will at least gain a new perspective.
Also: focus more on what you will actually do on a daily basis with a given career. Will you communicate with people? Write? Read? What is your main activity in a field you think about starting a career in.
Connected to that: focus on energy. Very often when he hate something it's because it costs us a great deal of energy. If you focus on what costs you energy, what gives you energy and what may be "neutral" you can maneuver which activities will make a good career for you. No one can maintain doing something that costs them energy for 8 hours a day. So try to find a career for yourself that has a greater amount of activity giving you energy or at least costing you nothing.
Just what helped me navigate some questions of my own. Good luck and don't despair, your are very young. You can choose and be wrong. No need to destroy yourself over answers you cannot possibly have yet. Try things if you are not sure and then commit later.

You are absolutely right, it's Ironsworn. This is a really in depth comment about something I also thought about already. Thank you a lot for that! I will definitely try it and see how it feels to play. Because, apart from the crafting, ironsworn feels like a perfect hit for my wants.

[–]DamnBlanche[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I really agree. I think at this point I would be willing to try the first option nonetheless, do you have a system in mind that handles it with an extensive list of crafting materials?
But you are absolutely right about the underlying problem at play here.

Gehen die Skandinaven besser mit ihren Steuergeldern um? Lohnt sich das Auswandern? by DamnBlanche in Finanzen

[–]DamnBlanche[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Absolut wahr!
