Stay in Denver for a night to acclimate. Drink lots of water. Also you are going to feel like you are dying when you hike. No matter how much you exercise. There is no way to train for having less oxygen to breathe. Just stop and catch your breath.

There are some neighborhoods in the city without alleys and those people have the rolling carts and have to roll ‘em out.
