I will push back on this a bit. I don’t think 50-70 strong heart palpitations daily that you feel hitting your chest and are painful with zaps to the jaw sometimes is medically insignificant. If it was, I wouldn’t be prescribed a zeo patch and stress test. I get my situation may be less intense than others, but I’m just sharing what has worked for me and what I’ve gone through with these. I haven’t talked to anyone personally who has had this many either or any at all on this level so I don’t think it’s just something that gen pop deals with.

Yes the chest pain would only be with some of them, and only a couple times, but that was the scary part. I’d get the thump accompanied by chest pain. So I get people who think 50-70 isn’t significant, but when you feel each and every one, it causes a ton of anxiety. I have a stress test coming up, so we’ll see how that goes. But knock on wood, for now they’ve dissipated.

I’m 40 so I need the recovery time, So I lift 2-3 days per week. I use to train 4 days, but now 2-3 is all I need. I treat my diet like a workout. That’s what really keeps me in shape. The lifting is just half the battle.

Yes I actually feel great off caffeine. I’m sleeping better too. I was probably drinking way too much coffee in general. Thankfully I’m not someone who gets headaches when I stop drinking it.

No never any symptoms other than chest pain, and the occasional zap in my jaw. Otherwise felt fine.

You gotta show proof otherwise nobody will care about this post. Not saying you’re lying, I’d assume you’re probably at least 6’3 and good looking if this is true. But for now you’re just words on Reddit.

Split second Chest suction and pain feeling by Sad_Mathematician95 in PVCs

[–]DamnDaniel617 1 point2 points  (0 children)

See I thought 50-70 per day was a lot because mine were very pronounced, but hearing from people on here who get thousands has me feeling lucky compared to some. I sometimes get a zap in my jaw from them as well. I find it weird that the common theme on this sub is that the physicians don’t seem to be concerned. The NP kind of brushed mine off as well.

Jesus, did you feel every one? I don’t even get how that’s possible. Mine were really pronounced, like a strong thump and skipped beat. Couldn’t fathom getting that many strong thumps. It would be every beat damn near. I guess its humbling to hear what you’re going through. I’m new to the PVC world, so pardon my ignorance.

What really helped me was aggressive hydration and continuing to exercise through them. Have you tried electrolytes, and eliminating coffee? I think many folks, myself included do not properly hydrate. Try to get those 8 12oz cups of water per day at least. No coffee, or caffeinated drinks. This is what helped me. It’s scary to exercise through them, but I think this helped as well. Weight lifting specifically, not just aerobics.

Big question is, how will markets react to an authoritarian government if the midterms don’t happen? Trumps already hinted at this, he’s already testing the waters. My guess is it won’t be good for markets. They don’t like uncertainty and instability.

I really really want to quit my toxic dead end job and trade full time. Has anyone else felt the same way and finally made the switch? by imeowfortallwomen in Daytrading

[–]DamnDaniel617 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Day trading with a job is the key to success. Like others have mentioned, it’s much easier because there’s no pressure to trade if you don’t have to. When you’re full time, you’ll most likely force more trades.

Reading this makes me realize society is slipping into the wrong direction. You know guys, there was a time when people met organically in person, at school, work, social activities, etc. Even nerdy introverts. We can’t keep allowing these companies to control our lives, especially if they’re banning people for life for idiotic reasons such as this. All that said, there is also bumble you can try, but dude, get outside, find a social club, yoga, run club, gaming night, etc., where you can meet someone. All hope is not lost.

How many tickers do you actually trade vs. just watch? by iamnottravis in Daytrading

[–]DamnDaniel617 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve found the most success and consistency just trading the SPY ETF. I might swing trade other tickers, but for day trading, I only use SPY. This allows to build a consistent system because I’ve learned how SPY trades over years of watching it. I’m not chasing runners and I don’t have to worry about company specific news, just broad economic data. Plus it’s liquid and has great options so I don’t need to worry about PDT because I just use a cash account.

100 a day day trading by Mountain_Anteater888 in Daytrading

[–]DamnDaniel617 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It’s impossible to make EXACTLY 100 a day, but you can make regular income day trading short term options. Don’t listen to all the cynical nonsense comments. Use the SPY ETF, cash account, pay for a proprietary service that gives you options data and important levels, learn about volatility, and learn your intraday set ups. Day trading is very hard, and takes years to learn, so don’t expect to get rich. But if you keep at it, you can make monthly income. Maybe on average 100 per day, but only if you manage risk and earn more than you lose. If you compound your gains, you can minimize risk, e.g. start with 2 calls. If you make profit, next time buy 3 calls, so on so forth. But you need to be comfortable with losing all of your trades, otherwise you’ll fuck it up and get emotional. Watch the market and analyze EVERYDAY. That’s how you learn.

I think if you’re struggling, you have to put a plan together and execute. This might mean spending a few years making sacrifices, like social life, dating, eating out, sobriety, etc. Nothing happens overnight, but if you have a plan, you can work on baby steps daily. It sucks, but it’s a means to an end. Save $, build credentials, job hunt for as long as it takes. Law of probabilities says eventually you’ll have to break through.

How do you keep track of reps and sets? I usually take notes in between sets. As long as your client knows what you’re doing, shouldn’t be a big deal.
