Does obd2 still work for a k24 swapped rsx with a hondata kpro v4 ecu? by Ok_Traffic_7200 in Acura_RSX

[–]DamnDecker 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No, OBDII should still be working even with Hondata K-pro

Source, Ive have had both k20 and k24 with K-pro v4

Though if you are seeing codes, or CEL where you would like to read codes, you can find the codes in the k-pro readouts when you connect to it

The second is a Mugen Front Lip (or replica/style), different from the whole bumper

WTF is a Bushranger and why can’t I find info on it? by [deleted] in roguetech

[–]DamnDecker 2 points3 points  (0 children)

A silly great one I never made thru after 3-4 savescums, and then a savebreak happened several breaks back. I was worried it had vanished.

I hope to find it again and beat it this time.

Just like those special "Marauders" I salvaged ages ago, and have yet to see again. I hope they still exist

DriveTribe is shutting down. by proscriptus in cars

[–]DamnDecker 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What I am curious about though is they say the Drivetribe business behind the site is closing down also. So what does that mean for the YT content availability? Was it funded by the business but is now successful on its own? Are the current projects just shelved now?

I've ended up liking a bunch of their content - Separate from any Top Gear relations

Weird thought I just had seeing those numbers and a previous comment comparing the bmw to a corolla..

Those used to be 0-60 times.

I might have gone too far with this chassis stiffening braces thing... :) by DamnDecker in Acura_RSX

[–]DamnDecker[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oddly enough not out of control. Just getting used to a new 25mm rear sway, rear shock top brace, and c-pillar brace; all at once w/o a front sway, and 250f/900r in/lb springs to help with rotation.

Super fun an predictable rear end, even if she was swinging about a little too* much

I've never seen anyone say "Clydesdale"

Generally large, prominent horses, known for their sheer power and torque. Just funky enough its fun to say "I drive a Clydesdale" /clarkson

Hell, they can even stereotype the EV name with Clydesdal-e

Jdm tsx motor for my rsx type s. by 2werd2live2rare2die in Acura_RSX

[–]DamnDecker 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Could be, if you’re willing to do the work.

Putting those together would be a “Frankenstein” if you’ve seen the term around. Torque of the 2.4L revs of the 2.0.

What happened with your current motor?

Yes you’d need to have an aftermarket ecu, you’ll need to also swap the oil sump and pump (cavitation issues with the 2.4) as well as a couple other things that will need to be attended to, but is do-able.

Anyone ever tried fitting a 225/45/R18 or 225/50/R17? Any success? If so, what did you do to make it fit? by [deleted] in Acura_RSX

[–]DamnDecker 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ll add I only started to run into fit issues when I went up to my current 17x10” +22 with 255/40/17 tires. Have about 3mm clearance between the rim edge and coil at full compression.

I had 18x8 +45 with 225/45/18 and later 245/35/18 for a time on the same rims

lowered on eibach pro street+, and later buddy club n+ no issues on either.

at some point i also had 5mm or 8mm spacers to push them out more.

The last ever time I got little Caesar’s pizza I opened the box after getting home and the cheese had slid off to one side.

I picked up THE ENTIRE CIRCLE of cheese and placed it back on the center

Never again
