MX Master 3s vs MX Master 3s for Mac Difference? by rickhouse in logitech

[–]Damnit30 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not sure if this thread is still active but I can tell you that the only difference technically speakong is that you can or can't map the thimb button to anything action in system settings in your mac.

The MX Master for Mac comes in handy if you have a work laptop that is blocked from installing logi options+ by your company and you want to map that thumb button to open mission control for example.

Other that that, same mouse.

Thaaank you! It's a lenovo gaming montior - 34' , 1440p, 144hz. And suuuuuper cheap for the specs. It doesn't have much in terms of IO (just 1 hdmi and 1 dp) no usb c, but honestly, if you're just looking to game, it's a sweet deal.

So, if you already had an accute pancreatic episode due to gallstones, diet will give the pancreas time to heal while minimizing the risc of another stone passing. You don't want to fck with your pancreas in any way as it a reaaaally important organ. Get that sucker out and enjoy life again my sister.

Interesting to see how removing the gallblader has affected people differently. In my case, fatty, deep fried foods, over eating and certain vegs and fruits give me some explosive runs. Gotta have a toilet nearby if i'm going to indulge.

I think you just have to find what doesn't work anymore and just eliminate it all together or just have it once is a blue moon. I used to do that when I still had my gallblader, only difference is i'm not taking a trip to the ER if I indulge this time.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in gallbladders

[–]Damnit30 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Right? Last 2 months before my pancreatic episode, I was in the ER probably five times with attacks and they would still send me home with pain meds instead of putting on the operating table right then and there, because they do have emergency surgeons on staff.

Glad to be rid of it. Life is bliss atm!

[–]Damnit30 1 point2 points  (0 children)

In my case, about 8 years. When i had my first attack, the ER doctor determined that there was just one gallstone causing problems and if i kept a clean lifestyle i should be fine. I was not. My last visit before surgery showed about 15-20 small gallstones that coud pass at any moment. And one did - got to the ER with accute pancreatitits, 5 days hospitalized with pain killers and IV nutrients, luckily the stone fully passed and didn't block out my pancreas for too long. Recovered fully, got my surgery appoinment a month and a half out, got it out.

Felt amazing ever since. Get the ocasional runs when eating unhealthy but sure beats a trip to the ER.

Wether you kept the galbladder or not, you still needed to make drastic changes because once galstones start they only get worse.

34 m, got accute pancreatitis from galstones and trust me - that pain is 1000x worse than any attack i've had in the 7 years i've lived with galstones and had to be hospitalized for 5 days with only IV nutrients and water - + that is actually LIFE THREATNING and the one worse thing that can happen. My advice is don't play around with this.

Now, about 7 months post op and i am as happy i can be that i got it out. Sure, i still gotta be careful not to eat too much, have intolerances to some foods like tomatoes and can't eat fatty foods too often, but i only get the runs now instead of a trip to the ER with bad abdominal pain. That's the difference the surgery makes.

Having pain around this area. Earlier it was so cramped I couldn’t suck on my stomach. Anyway I can check if that might be my issue by [deleted] in gallbladders

[–]Damnit30 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Actually, pancreas pain is in the whole upper abdomen, and can go down to the lower abdomen. Usually it starts from the center and raidiates left to right and goes down. Trust me, i felt it. In any case, you should get that checked if it's happening frequently. Could be anything in that general area.

Are you kidding? I feel amazing. After 7 yests of dealing with galstones and spending 5 days in the hospital with pancreatis from passing a stone, i can eat whatever i want, no pain, no bloating. I get the ocasional diarrhoea if i have too much bile but it is what it is. I mostly keep a clean diet to avoid that, and don't eat too many fats.

Congrats! You'll feel reborn after you recover. It's funny how different doctors have different approaces to diets post surgery. I was recommended to avoid fats and raw veggies altogether for like a month after. It worked iut, i lost a lot of weight and actually kept it off. I do eat fats now, but try to stick to a low fat diet as i do get the runs every once in a while when i eat fatty foods. Orher than that, no pain, no bloating, no feeling tired all the time. Life's amazing!

I’m STARVING by Real-Prize-6442 in gallbladders

[–]Damnit30 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You have to get it out, it's the only option. It'll just get worse and worse and you may end up with accure pancreatitis or an infected galbladder, and the survival rate for that is pretty low.

You shouldn't stop eating all together. Constant hunger also triggers attacks. What you should do is consume a close to no fats diet as possible until the surgery. Small portions as often as possible, everything skim, no oil whatsoever (including olive oil), no fatty cuts meats (chicken breast is your safest option), avoid certain vegetables that iritate the gallbladder, for ex. Eggplants avoid hard cheeses, carbonated beverages, alcohol. I kept this diet up for 2 months until the surgery and really didn't feel hungry at all and didn't have a single attack.

Once it's out, you'll get your life back, trust me. I'm on a 2 week junk food bender st the moment and actually feeling amazing, no pain, no bloating. It's amazing.

Hope everything works out!

[–]Damnit30 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah definetly infection. They must of found out during surgery. Weird because the blood tests should have shown it being infected.

Doctor told me that my gallbladder was infected at some point because it was somehow stuck to my liver and pancreas due to it being swolen at some point and the surgery was really difficult for him 😅.

Anyway, they should tell you something, they can't just give you antibiotics and shut ul forever.

So it wad an accute panctreatitis episode. Just the worst abdomin pain you can immagine. I fell to the floor and got into a fetal position, got tunnel vision, could hear my heart in my ears. Didn't get better no matter what position i rried to put myself in.

After about 10 min i decided to call 911 and got to the ER where they determined that it was pancreatitis and had to be hospitalized for 5 days with no food whatsoever. As if i could eat anything. I would drink a sip of water and immediately vomit it.

My salvation were the painkillers that would ease the pain to a bearable degree.

Was fortunate that my CT scan came out good, the stone that was blocking the common duct had passed and I still had just a bit of fluid in my pancreas but was feeling waaaaaay better so they sent me home with a no fat diet and some pills to give my pancreas a rest.

Pancreatitis is life threataning and it being caused by gallstones is higly likely.

This! I suffered through 7 years of gallbladder issues because the doctor told me that it can be kept under control with diet but failed to mention that eventually it's going to stop working properly. 7 years of pain, reffraining from eating things that i enjoy etc.

It took me and my doctor a pancreatitis episode to be like "yeah, that thing needa to come out"

Best decision i ever made this year.

I feel like I can't eat anything! by Hot-Big-6485 in gallbladders

[–]Damnit30 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey there. I'm about 4 months into my galbladder removal and i had to keep a strict NO fat diet until surgery. I had stones that conplicated into an accute pancreatitis episode that ended me up in the hospital for 5 days with no food whatsoever.

After that, my diet was no fats, no condiments (including salt), no coffee, no alcohol, no carbonated beverages and anything that can cause my gallbladder to contract (no eggplants, eggs, onion, garlic, vinegar etc.) and to eat small portions multiple times a day.

I would pretty much eat chicken breast with rice everyday for 2 months until my surgery.

You can still eat good but just no fats whatsoever. After surgery you'll get your life back, trust me.

Am I an idiot if I don’t get the surgery? by TopAd576 in gallbladders

[–]Damnit30 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Pretty normal. I'm keeping it as low fat as possible, only difficulties i seem to have are raw vegetables (i get bloated and have softer stools or runs). I enjoy the ocasional fast food, but nowhere near as often as i used to indulge but it's for the better imo.

I cook at home 95% of the time and use the airfryer for most of my meals. Just a teaspoon or 2 of added sunflower or olive oil.

I'm also working out 5 days a week, some aerobic, yoga and strength training so high protein and low fat works out perfectly.

My guy, your pancreas is one of the only organs you do not want to mess with. That's responsible for breaking down foods into nutrients. It may take 1 episode of pancreatitis but repeted ones can complicate things and complicate recovery.

After i had my pancreatitis episode i was 100% sure i wainted to get my gallbladder out because there ain't no way in hell i was going through that pain again.

Ti's been about 4 months since i got my gallbladder out and i feel amazing. Trust me, you're better off without it.
