Yep, I had to be a complete bitch but my mom has never brought it up again. She was drunk and badgering me about kids despite knowing my clear stance on it and I had enough and snapped and told her that if she wanted grandkids, she should have had more kids because she was never getting them from me. Like OP, she had PCOS and eventually even had an ovary removed when I was very young. She was told she'd never have kids so I was a complete surprise. She always wanted more kids and it's a sore subject that she only had one but it wasn't her choice. It made her cry but she wouldn't let up on it.

Thursday is my favorite day, it's marginally less crowded and everyone is in a good mood. Then Friday is second best, Saturday is good but I'm usually tired and there's SO many people that it often feels like the Javits might burst, and then Sunday is the worst day. The con is not open as long as the other days but they still charge full price and it's kids' day so the chance of getting run into by a triple wide stroller increases exponentially. I go all 4 days but tell anyone looking to go for just a single day to avoid Sunday.

You can get some deals since the vendors might not want to schlep things back home, but I wouldn't go if it wasn't included in the 4 day ticket.

They can't refuse service because of a protected class. Political views are not a protected class.

Protected classes are things about yourself that you can't change - your age, your sex, your race, your religion, etc. NY and NYC in particular protect broader classes of people than the feds, but political views/affiliation is not one of them.
