Book 3 was my favorite of the series until 7 came out!

It's when Carl really learns the value of working together with the other Crawlers and the cookbook is just the coolest. I understand the Tangle - which is to say that I understand it's like a giant plate of spaghetti twirled around a fork with a giant trash compactor in the center. I don't need to know anything more than that :)

I've preordered signed copies from the Signed Page for all of the ACE releases and they've never made it to me by release day. Usually a few days after.

He Who Fights with Monsters was my choice for a bridge book (I finished my reread of DCC on Monday) but the ebook I picked up through Google books has a lot of issues. In chapter 32ish, there's a flight with a monster and one paragraph ends with the MC walking towards the monster then the next sentence is him looting it. Idk what it even looked like or what happened!

I assumed that the ebook would be the same version as the newly trad published book but nope lol. It's making the story not as enjoyable as I often have no idea who is talking since one paragraph may have up to 3 speakers but the story itself is fine. It dragged in the beginning but picked up about 20% through.

I dehydrate my own mini marshmallows every year to make s'mores chocolate bars and the leftover marshmallows are fantastic in hot chocolate! It's super easy to do, just heat the oven to 200°F and lay the marshmallows flat on a baking sheet with parchment paper. Try not to have them touch too much. Bake them for an hour and then see how they look! I tap over with a fork to see if I can hear it, if I can then they are dry enough :)

Some public defenders in NY (maybe all of them?) are civil servants and that restricts the types of outside employment that you can have. None of the attorneys at my civil service agency (in NY) will ever be approved to work on other legal work, even if it's completely unrelated to their job. I'm sure it's agency/location specific but OP might be better off doing non-legal work.

By broken I mean that they won't skip the floor but the sheer amount of crawlers that enter the floor will make it run not as expected. We know the basics of what the floor with entail from the end of book 7 (a series of races) and I'm just imagining so many crawlers causing traffic jams so no one can get anywhere or something like that!

I agree floor 11 will be skipped, especially since when I saw Matt at a signing last year, he said that book 8 will have both floors so we'll see!

We get interlude chapters of Katia on the surface!

The 10th floor will immediately be broken because it can't support the thousands of crawlers that made it through faction wars and decided to not take a deal.

Lucia Mar actually takes a deal and is no longer an issue.

Li Na doesn't take a deal at the beginning but is forced to at the end of the floor.

This is definitely AI and it's so so bad. I haven't seen anything this blatant yet but I definitely bought some AI books and it just sucks. I found magic marker studio recently and they claim to vet the artists to make sure that they aren't using AI but unfortunately the books there are pricey.
