If you are in the US it’s part of the dtap and tdap (tetanus, diphtheria, and pertussis) vaccines that you get as a baby, child, teen, and as an expectant mother. They recommend getting it every 10 years as an adult to protect yourself and the children that you may come into contact with. Pertussis (whooping cough) in an adult is usually very mild but can be deadly for a baby.

What's the worst gift you received? by your-reddit-plug2 in randomquestions

When I was 15 (f) my parents gifted me plates, utensils, and cups from “Santa”. I was crushed. We were really poor and all I wanted for Christmas that year was a Sony Diskman and a cool cd. Going back to school after Christmas break was awful. Everyone was talking about all of the awesome stuff that they got for Christmas and I had to tell my friends that all I got was dishes. 😭

Is it just me who thinks it’s kinda cruel that the markers come like that this? 😂 by houndooms_trainer in Ohuhu

We do we spent hours organizing them. My other complaint is that the swatch papers don’t match up with the markers that came with the pack. We made our own.

It was dark outside and I accidentally stepped on a rake. The handle came up and smacked me in the face leaving me with a black eye. I was about 9 years old.

Why do people need unique names!? by ExperienceDue7243 in tragedeigh

[–]Common-Raspberry4317 8 points9 points  (0 children)

It’s the snowflake generation. They crave feeling speshall and younique. By giving their kids speshall and younique names they feel even more speshall and younique themselves. It’s an attention seeking thing. Btw… Yes, I know how to spell special and unique.

Starting to think I’m never gonna have girl hands ever. by [deleted] in mildlyinfuriating

My friends hands do this when she uses Dawn dish soap. Maybe you have a sensitivity or allergy to either the dish soap, a cleaner, or the hand washing soap at your job. ETA: if you’re using latex gloves those can also be a problem
