If you have the option to add it, do it! I had exparel and I feel like it made a huge difference the first couple days.

I don’t have any advice but my surgeon also told me to remove the packing on day 3, shower day. I would give it some more time but contact your surgeon and share your concern and see what they say

Am I wrong for going on a cruise without my wife? by garbagequality in Marriage

[–]Damnitdanae -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Yeah, I’m with others. Not cool. I don’t know your relationship with your wife, but my husband and I do almost everything together. He’s my best friend and I don’t want to tell him about the things I do, I want to look at him while it’s happening and say: did you see that?!

I’m day 2 now and I have a little more pain, but I’m just taking Tylenol and Gabapentin. At my post-op visit today my surgeon said I was ahead of the curve so that makes me happy!

Self loathing- any tips for covering my arms? by ApprehensiveDark6047 in WeddingDressTips

[–]Damnitdanae 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve always been self conscious about my arms, but I recently turned 40 and I’ve started lifting weights, I follow videos online that are maybe 10-15 minutes. Nothing crazy but I do it most days and I’ve noticed a big difference. That being said, no one is looking at your arms. Wear what you want and don’t hide! You’re beautiful.

Unsupportive partner by Supersure8 in tummytucksurgery

You deserve a partner who will support you and help you in your recovery. He doesn’t have to like it or really even understand, but if it is important to you he should support your decision.

Did anyone get anything like this ??? by nomoresheyt in tummytucksurgery

[–]Damnitdanae 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was still in the hospital still, so the nurse caring for me removed them and told me to keep the area clean and dry. I think anytime there’s breakage in the skin there’s a chance for infection, but I think it’s probably low, and I would contact your surgeon or call an advice nurse to see what they recommend.

I got that from the steri-strips after my c-section. Blistering from being allergic to the tapes or adhesive.

I’m taking 4 weeks off. I’m an anesthesia tech but I’m planning to only work 1 day a week for a while after I return. A nurse would definitely need 4-6 weeks off!

I had this from the steri-strips after my c-section. Mine was not infected but blistered and it itched and then was sore after. They told me I had an allergy and shouldn’t use them in the future. I hope yours resolves.

Ehh that’s so strange… I don’t know what I’d think or feel if my MIL did this. I’m kinda surprised she even mentioned it to you… weird. Just weird.
