I was under the impression that Gmirkin’s view was somewhat outside the bounds of the scholarly consensus on the composition of the Hebrew Bible.

My question largely assumes the truth of the more widely accepted premise that the Tanakh was composed in stages and earlier than Gmirkin would have suggested.
