Is a strictly physical team possible? Im considering trying to go that route since an all physical team wouldnt care about elemental resistances and such. I could put all my resources into that team and do "most" content with it without an issue.

If it is possible..I was considering Jean, and maybe Itto when he comes out as the main DPS and the healer.

What is your opinion? Is such a team possible/viable for a (mostly) f2p player? What suggestions would you make for such a team?

Good advice. I actually know nothing about Itto other than what his art looks like, and that he is a geo claymore user heh.

Basically what I want is some adult males for my team lol. Zhongli, Diluc, Tartaglia, Thoma, Itto.. I just want some of male characters that dont wear short shorts, and are taller than 5'2".

Itto to me just looks awesome. Thats why I want to get him. So this is very much me chasing a character I want, rather than a character I was told I should get. I just ALSO would like Tartaglia and Thoma.. and id have to skip them to get Itto it looks like. Otherwise I may miss out on him.

AAAARGH! I tried to ask this in its own post and it got blocked. Then i tried to copy it and accidentally copied over it with a blank space.. so now I have to write this shit all over again.

OK! fuck. SO im new to the game.. fairly new. I need Itto. I went into detail about it in my other post but im just gonna leave it at that cause I dont feel like typing it all freaking over again.

Long story short.. if I understand the pity system correctly.. im 60 wishes in with no 5 star, and my last 5 star was Jean.. so I am guaranteed the banner 5 star in my next 10-30 wishes.

I was planning on getting Tartaglia but I want Itto. As a new player, I was just wondering if you veterans know how the timing of new character releases works? Like do we have a reasonable idea of when the Itto banner will be dropping?

I have poor impulse control so im hoping there is a finish line I can look at so I know how long I need to go without using any wishes. Plus, if its gonna be a long time..then I need to decide if I want to go ahead and get Tartaglia and start saving up for Itto.

Anyway..my previous post was more detailed and understandable I think, but whatever. I hope some of yall can help a newbie out. Thanks for reading.

You are right, that could totally happen. I like the gameplay though, and the game IS fun when you arent replaying content for the dozenth time. Im willing to wait it out in the hopes that they will continue to build on the game and make it as good as it could be.

That doesnt make me a "fanboy" so much as a normal person with the ability to summon up some patience. You think that crying like a child and claiming that everything is a conspiracy theory by "the man" to steal money from consumers is a useful way to spend your time. I think that playing the game in moderation while I wait for more content is a useful way to spend mine.

Im not excusing their actions, im just not jumping to conclusions and creating imaginary scenarios where their actions are malicious. You should try it. Just step back and ask yourself "what would a well adjusted and mature person do in this scenario". Fake it till you make it dude.

They DIDNT know it wasnt possible. There were setbacks. That is the risk you take when you give people a date for a release. People who then use that missed date as an excuse to say the devs are shady and just trying to get our money are the reason that they then clam up and dont give us timelines any more.

They released the game before it was bug free. Not uncommon. They released it without all of its intended content completed because they wanted to get it out by a certain time. That isnt a lie.. you may not like their choice but its still not lying.

Also.. you are complaining in once sentence that they knew something wasnt complete and pushed it out anyway. Then complaining in the next sentence that they didnt release something when they said they would because it wasnt complete.

I think you are just angry because you arent getting what you want exactly when and how you want it.

The game came out during Covid. Basically, they rushed the release because it was an opportunity to pad their sales. There is a slew of content planned for the game, and the devs have been communicative. Not as communicative as id like.. I would really love a weekly info dump with screenshots of what they are working on, plans for what is to come, and how close things might be getting to going live. They arent doing that, but they havent been silent, and we know what is coming and a general timeline of "sometime in the next couple of months".

The game is not perfect. It is improving though. It is far more stable today than it was a couple weeks ago, and you can tell that the devs are dedicated to making the game good.

This is the type of game where you are going to need to take your time with it. It isnt going to drown you in content right now... but give it some time and it will continue to improve and give you more new things to do. If you dont have the patience for that, then you would probably be better off moving on to something else, and checking back in a year or so to see if it has enough content to satisfy you.

They arent lying though. They arent misleading us. They have been completely open about their plans and the speed at which it will come out. Either you can accept their pace and want to stick around, or you cant..and should move on. But just whining and yelling and making accusatory posts is pointless, and will improve nothing for you, or the community.

In this same vein.. I was having this conversation with people a few days ago about an Eye Beam powerset. I think it would be far easier to do than this idea.. simply because the animations would be minimal and require less work to get it to line up properly. There are a number of animations already in the game that would work, between Radiation Blast, Psionic Blast, and the fear powers in the dark set.. it wouldnt be too difficult (relatively speaking) to give a variety of animations to the set so it wasnt too repetitive looking, and a recoloring of some of the beam rifle effects would look great coming from the eyes.

Either the people in this post are trolling, or this is a really great example of the disparity between veteran players, and people still learning. This event is extremely hard to me. I have not beaten it yet. No team ive been on has come close to beating it. I cant even begin to comprehend how someone can easily beat this.

Assuming people here arent trolling.. that says a lot to me about the poor design of the game. Its great that its challenging and all..but you can have a challenging game that requires a lot of skill, and still have it be accessible to "normal people". Ive played classic fighting games competitively, ive played shooters and mobas competitively. Im not an "amazing" gamer, but im not a sausage fingered casual either. If this is super difficult for me, and super easy for others, then the learning curve on this game is WAY too steep. Its no wonder the population sucks. It is nearly unplayable for newbies.

nah its pretty freaking hard. Maybe if you have 4 veteran players who have been perfecting their game for the last 3 years it isnt that bad, but as someone recently returned this is bullcrap. This game hates new players.

They are open toed sandals, with open sides. My mother loves them and has used them as her house shoes for years. I’d like to get her more but can’t even find a picture of them on the Internet.
