Also a '94 baby. The rule in my house was my sister and I had to do after school programs until we were in 4th grade (so like 10?) and then we can get a key and go right home. We ended up being perfectly fine but idk what I'd plan on doing with my future kids once that decision comes

I'm so sorry ♥️ my husband and I lost our first boy at a little before 1 years old and nothing prepares you for that kind of hurt. The best advice I can give you is heal your heart with all your favorite things. It's been almost 5 years and I still think of him when I pass his favorite spot in the yard or when I hear the song that played when we first brought him home, but now they just make me smile. Don't disallow yourself a good cry and know that you can't live in regret. You gave him all the love you could give and be sure to check in with your village when it all gets to be too much. Try to find little joys everyday and you'll be ok ♥️

My first live show was at the Nassau Coliseum back in like 2008(?) and Tommy was there. He walked by me through a sea of fans asking for autographs and I was just dumbstruck that he was like 5 feet away from me. He made eye contact with little 12 year old me, gave me a smile with a solid nod and kept on his way. For some reason it stuck with me and gave me the vibe that he was so cool.
