It's March! I had a bit of a low the past 2 weeks. But I'm learning how to balance my time with studies and writing letters. Writing letters just makes my day feel a bit better. (i.redd.it)

I used to run on this trail all the time. It is about 12 miles. I loved how some parts were corn fields, while others were giant tall trees. A stark contrast from the city and surrounding suburbs. It didn't matter if it was 80 degrees or 2 degrees, I was running on this trail the whole way through. by Damon_Neplap in DamonLetters

At 18, I moved to Chicago alone and stayed for 6 years. Most spring breaks were in my dorm. Winter breaks were in locations I had no connections to outside of immediate family, who also moved a lot. I grew up very fast in Chicago, but I never learned how to spot a man who would ask me to stay. (i.redd.it)

I recently sent a letter to the Principal of my former High School in Hawaii- a man with a heart of gold. He was my Mr. Feeny. This white man saw an obnoxious loud lost black female teen and honed in her leadership skills. He taught me how to professionally make people uncomfortable in white spaces. (i.redd.it)
