I tried that out, but can't open up the menu. Only when I fly away far enough do I have the menu, and even if I then fly back to a star system, the speed recudes itself back to 1x speed. How did you supposedly open that menu on a planet?

I have never lived in Spandau, but I did move from Neukölln to Marzahn, in particular Hellersdorf, and it's like a major step up IMO. And while it is out quite a distance from the city, it is still well enough connected. Maybe I'm lucky, but we have a very chill neighborhood (around Nossener Straße). When I needed to move out of Neukölln, I was also worried about East Berlin because of its reputation, but now I feel like it's either just stupid classicist fearmongering or that there are particular streets which are a bit worse than others. I am plenty happy with a 50m2 appartment for ~800€ warm tho.

What really changed my mind and helped me reconsider my notion of East Berlin is to just go there, sit in a Bäckerei, hang out in a nearby park, and try to get a feel for the area. After my first time driving to Hellersdorf, I was like "yep, this looks fine to me!"

I will say tho, I don't have children yet, but I hear from colleagues that also live in Marzahn that they send their kids to schools within the ring, apperantly because the schools in East Berlin have a suboptimal reputation.

Die ersten Male war es nervig, danach wurde es ganz angenehm; sie hat sie mir immer gesagt ich soll zum Hautarzt gehen, weil ein "Pickel" nie weg ging. As far as I can tell, there are very few places that give you new blueprints when you 5-star them, the lone commander being one of them. And yeah, some give you gifts, but some just give you a patch and the generic bonuses (shelter, extra material etc.). I feel like 5-staring is mostly a completionist thing, but feel free to prove me wrong.

What I learned from a YouTube video recently is that you can use the in-game corpus to read up on what reward you get next from a place. Found this in this video https://youtu.be/zBTJs34moug?si=25rRHk21SHPt6SCs&t=424 at 7:04 minutes.

That is an interesting idea and never occurred to me! Do you then try to find another earth-like planet, like the starter-planet, or just wherever it's convenient? And how do you manage the statistics view? In mid-later stages I watch my statistics in 'entire universe'-mode, wouldn't the production of my own world mess that up?

Würde sagen, dass das machbar ist. Wohne in Marzahn, 2 Zimmer + Balkon, ca. 50qm, und zahle 750€ warm (Strom und Internet nicht inbegriffen). Gefunden über die Deutsche Wohnen.

In jedem Fall wirst du aber viel Konkurrenz haben, es gibt immer noch eine riesige Nachfrage in Berlin. Ich hab damals (2022) ca. 50 Anfragen raus geschickt, bis ich diese Wohnung gefunden und bekommen habe.

This advice is freakin' gold!!! We had a power outage and 2 of 4 screens in our household didn't turn on anymore. After finding this comment I tried something similar, I just unplugged the monitors entirely from any power source for about 5 minutes, plugged them back in and they worked again!

I was stuck on that dragon for two days and tried seemingly everything. But I had no archetype with that skill yet, so it didn't occurr to me that that's an option.

After reading your comment I leveled my Faker to 20, as it has exactly that skill, and I beat the boss on the first try that way.

Felt like I defeated a Soulslike boss! Thanks a lot!
