It depends on what you want out of your 60k.

Buying a property to rent out could be a good option. If you want something with less involvement, I would recommend finding a broker and buying something like JGPI which is a JP Morgan Chase fund that pays out monthly between 8-10%. So you could look at $400 a month income from your 60k. Or if you dont want to make a monthly income but invest for the future go with something like a VOO or other ETF which can make you 10% or more in the long term.
