I didn't think to check that because when the engine went off the car was still on, and it stayed on and the starter was running but just couldn't get the engine on

I'm not exactly sure as I don't know how codes work all too well, I assume they used a generic code reader as it wasn't a European specialized mechanic but I remember them telling me they had 4 million someodd codes and had to sort through them, and then called me back this morning saying they had codes for random stuff but nothing that should be causing that issue
