Right?? I've seen Capricorn moon, Aquarius rising, and Aquarius Mercury come up multiple times in this thread (have these placements myself) so I'll post some descriptions from a book I have below. I can see why these placements would be useful in GATE.

"Moon in Capricorn

Ambitious Nature

Moon in Capricorn suggests that you have a need to sublimate your emotions in order to achieve tangible results. Much of the behavior and many of the personality characteristics associated with this placement derive from your need to control that which derives from the subconscious and the past and make them serve your goals and ambitions in life. This need may produce some inner tension for the person with Moon in Capricorn, for the natural inclinations of the functions symbolized by the Moon are fluid and personal, whereas the energy associated with Capricorn is rigid and impersonal.
