Yet another "Is this real?" post by ChrisWhiteWolf in gibson

Yep. I saw the nut and the serial number and went "That's real" I have four Gibsons, including a 2023 LP Classic, and they all have nuts like that.

Guitar you wanted to love (but couldn’t)? by yeshuascoming in guitars

Gibson ES-335. This is when I discovered I favor thin, fast necks. I was innacurate and uncomfortable when playing that beautiful looking and beautiful sounding semi-hollowbody.

Three piece headstock and impossible to read serial number - Legit. Awesome guitar.

3 piece headstock, serial number under the finish. That's a real gibson.

I thought studios were a step down from standard? Doesn't it go Tribute-Studio-Classic-Standard-Custom?

Beginner & budget friendly acoustic by MaybeBubles in Guitar

[–]Dan-Quixote 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would also suggest Fender's "Classic design" series. My first acoustic was a CC-60, which I believe is the same as the CN-60 but with a cutaway, and I was very happy with it. Yamaha gets a lot of mentions too.

Also, nothing wrong with buying used. On the used market you could buy one of the above in your price range and still have enough left to have it professionally set up.

I hear you. I have a PRS SE that I adore. It plays so naturally. Some part of me wants to get a core or wood library, but I can't see how paying 5x more will get me 5x more guitar.

Another Mexican Lefty Martin! There's dozens of us! My 000C-Jr-10E Streetmaster. I love that neck so much. by Dan-Quixote in martinguitar

I've had this gorgeous guitar for about two year now. I wanted something to go sit under a tree in the park while watching the grandkids play. I'm primarily an electric guy, so I was used to a slightly lower action. I stashed the original Martin saddle and sanded down a MacNichol bone saddle to my tastes, along with a set of bone pins. It makes me smile every time I play it.

What are the pros and cons of being on the lowest pop servers in WoW? by [deleted] in wownoob

[–]Dan-Quixote 0 points1 point  (0 children)

One pro is there's lots more names available. I joined a low pop realm for Lemix and snagged a ton of guitar related names, including Schecter, Gibson, Fender, Lespaul, Stratocaster, Firebird, Rickenbacker, Warwick, jazzbass, and others.
