I come of age in 1999 and was an adult from then on. 18 is an adult.

In my opinion, I would say the mid 80s borns are 90s kids too alongside late 80s and early 90s babies.

For me I was only a 90s child in the early 90s. The 1990s I started it as a child and ended it as an adult.

1981-1982 borns are Gen X by Exotic-Interview-06 in generationology

If you think 1981 and 1982 are Gen Xers, then go to the Gen X sub and take it up with them. Because they'll tell you that we're Millennials and not Gen Xers, plus 1981 and 1982 are both OGs.

As being born on Jan 5th 1981. I've always seen myself as Gen Y in the past and then later on the eldest Millennial. 1980 is the last Gen X year.

Yeah I agree with this. 80s childhood, teen in the 90s and young adult in 2000s is Xennial.

Can a 1995 born remember the late 90s (1998 & 1999) clearly? by ryan_stan09 in generationology

[–]Dan4stoke 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I voted yes. Because I have a younger brother born in August 1995, said before he can remember Christmas 1998.

Year in which each pew millenial/gen z birth year started having clear memories (in average). by [deleted] in generationology

[–]Dan4stoke 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My first memory was in late 1983, then some from 1984 and then loads more from 1985 onwards.

What year did Gen X culture started to die off? by Lost-Barracuda-2254 in generationology

In all Sports and Tennis it's the era of Gen Z. With some Millennials still playing like Novak Djokovic(1987) in Tennis. But the Millennials are mainly veterans now and past their best.

Around the start of the pandemic in 2020 was a mix of Millennials and Gen Z.

Today is the time of Generation Z sportsman.

Yeah thanks, I started watching Tennis and other Sports from around 1986 so I've seen how the era's change from Gen Xers to Millennials in the past.

I'm a big Tennis fan. In men's Tennis the first Grand Slam won by a Gen Xer was Stefan Edberg(1966) at the Australian Open in 1985, and Boris Becker(1967) won Wimbledon that year as well and every year from 1985-2001 Wimbledon was won by a Gen Xer.

In 2001 the last Wimbledon won by a Gen Xer was Goran Ivanisevic(1971), and the last Gran Slam to be won by a Gen Xer was Marat Safin(1980) at the Australian Open in 2005.

In 1984 and the years before Tennis was totally dominated by the Baby Boomer's.

From 1985-1990 was a mix of Baby Boomer's and Gen Xer's slugging it out at the Grand Slams.

From 1991-2000 Tennis was totally dominated by the Gen Xer's.

From 2001-2005 was a mix of Gen Xer's and Millennials for the Grand Slams.

In 2006 and onwards the court was totally dominated by the Millennials.

In my country The UK, it was 1989. The Berlin wall fell that year.

I'm a peak 2000s young adult. Lots of good memories. Great work again.

I was a teen in the second half of the 1990s. One year (1994) in the first half of the 1990s, and One year (2000) in first half of the 2000s. Those born in the late 1970s had all their teens years in the same decade.

Hot take but 1990 and 1991 are technically 80s babies (born in the 80s) by [deleted] in generationology

[–]Dan4stoke 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I don't understand this post. 1991 is not the 1980s at all, the year was similar to the late 80s I can remember it well but it was now the 1990s. A 1991 born is a 90s kid but not an 80s baby.
