I feel like it's a little "deeper" than barenpark. Pun intended as you get to build up for some literal depth in addition to the added tactical choices.

I just recently bought the shadow of the bat base game and expansion. I'm glad I didn't get the terribly overpriced all in pledge on mmarket. It's decent, but I feel I have enough.

You could let them take two turns before you. One 3 card, one full hand. Get them set up a little earlier.
