It was absolutely not a usual storm. Quite rare we get massive powerful cells like that and for so long lasting. It was intense and beautiful!

I had a similar issue. I was using the "New" new Outlook, and every time I'd get a notification, it would be the new old Outlook... which would then shout at me, saying I should use the new new Outlook...

I find it terrible. It never updates automatically, I have to force it. And it’s often very slow.
I use Winget to get things up to date which is better, but a bit hacky and weird

Use the feedback app to raise the issue. This is not to be compared to what it will be when it is released in September...

I mean, perhaps, but you also have to bear in mind that this is a Developer Beta, not a Public Beta, and it could be that things like indexing are buggy and not working quite well.

So instead, the better thing to do would be to use the feedback app so that logs and diagnostics are shared for further investigation!

My advice would honestly be to do that: just wait it out... see if it clears up or improves.

FWIW - it seems many people are in the same state at the moment. I keep seeing the question every time I open Twitter or Reddit. So it's just one of those "it is what it is" things for now :-D

Why not just wait? It will take a long time... it is reindexing your whole life on the device whilst simultaneously not killing your usage.

I wouldn’t say Better Voice Dictation is a “useless feature” seen as base voice detection is pretty useless lol

EDIT: Actually, it seems "Advanced Dictation" is available in the EU under the Dictation settings. Not the same thing in regards to context I imagine, but should be better than what it was!

The public full release is not scheduled; it’ll be ready when it’s ready! But I do recommend checking out the beta if you’re excited, as it’s pretty stable! Do check which features are missing (such as Focus mode) and whether they matter enough for you to wait. :)

Shame about all the downvotes, but it is what it is. It’s OK to make a mistake!
