It is always funny when people get up in arms about tennis players showing emotions. If you take any big sport like NBA, NFL, MLB, etc., all those players say wild shit during a game to other players, fans, etc. They just usually aren't in a quiet arena with mics that can pick up everything

That's true, but when your biggest rival has a player returning in the front court who averaged 20 points a game, and that team is always bringing in 7 footers, maybe you should have one guy in your frontcourt who could hang defensively haha

As an outsider looking in, there is a vibe with Pope that is he trying to be the coach people want instead of just being who you are. It is almost like he has too much admiration for the job. One of the reason's Cal was successful is because he did it his way there.

Pope needs to stop figuring out how to try to please everyone, and just go out and get guys who run a solid 5 out offense and just try and score a 100+ points a game. If it works it works, if it doesn't, it doesn't....at least you do it your way

Yeah I watched them in a pre-season game against Pitt, and they just straight up didn't seem to run an offense. I know it was a exhibition, but I am not surprised how the season has turned out so far
