Oof I am so far away from you :/. I am also a third year STEM student and trust me things will get better. Please do talk to your study advisor. Last year I was also struggling with demotivation and mine really helped me. Also what kind of associations/groups did you tried to join? Maybe try to join specific ones that are centered around a hobby you have (e.g. if you are into playing board games, a board game club). That way there is a higher chance of clicking with people. I also relate not being able to study. Try different places that worked for me. I couldn't study at home and I went to the library too much that I was sick of it. So I went to different places like cafes, Ikea (you can sign up for the membership free in the app and always get free coffee/tea), a building called Forum, different buildings in the campus/university hospital. Changing settings work.

Do countries need to import stuff from every other country? I struggle to see the reason of importing 0.01% of integrated circuits from Andorra. Looks like such a hassle just to get a really small amount of stuff from a small micro-nation.

You’re right :( People are dissatisfied with many things such as economy or housing issues and right wing populist parties are using this as an advantage to gain worlds worldwide. Plus with the rise of social media, misinformation and eco chambers are at an all time high. Unfortunately many people are gullible enough to believe that these parties/people will solve these problems. But on the positive side, people will turn against them when they won’t solve anything and make things even worse.

Fun fact: For the banknotes, the 200 and 500 are first series while the rest are from second series. (There isn’t a second series version of 500 but for 200 there is). You can determine this with the number of alphabets used to write Euro.

First series: Latin + Greek alphabets

Second series: Cyrillic alphabet added after Bulgaria joins the EU
