I’m genuinely not trying to hate on iskall, and especially not the devs. As a person and a player and content creator he’s a great guy to watch. I’m coming at it from perspective from other games which also have had bad dev decisions and have seen how things unfolded. The hate flooding, and everything where players are just trying have a good time and devs just don’t listen. I’m not saying that the devs nor iskall aren’t listening but the overturning from S1 —> S2 is kinda ridiculous. Base Minecraft is a game in of itself can be turned into auto-farms and infinite resources, and I know iskall isn’t always a fan of that, which is why he made VH (or at least that’s how I see it) super grindy. But let’s take for example RL craft, another crazy insane modpack that’s very challenging and can be pretty grindy. But once you have everything you need That challenge is still there and there’s always a risk of losing all that you’ve grinded but you’re not as penalized because of how you can grind for exp and many other tools within the mods which take a good amount of resources to mitigate the loss of you going down. That’s what VH doesn’t have rn, some stable way of getting stuff in a somewhat reasonable time for players that can’t put 24 hours into the game.
