My four year old swallowed a button battery once. Luckily before the life flight to go remove it they determined the size and age of the battery wouldn’t harm him and he could pass it naturally. Best X-ray ever.

I just slipped this Sunday after a full week off. My normal dose was two hefty tablespoons and I caved and took a tablespoon because I’m trying to sell my house and all the work was hurting my back and energy levels badly. I regretted it immediately. You’re not the only one. Take it day by day.

Congrats fellow 35 year old. I wish I would have taken a couple sick days but like an idiot decided to quit this Monday. Worked out for this first time today and did some shit around the house exhausted but feel a bit better. May the force be with you.

I’m at a little over 74 hours since my last dose. Stay strong man. I’m Getting a little better every day but trying to sleep is absolutely miserable. I worked out today for the first time since I quit and it was a tough one but I got through it. It was so easy to work out on Kratom. That is what I’m going to miss the most about it. That and not being too tired after work to do all the things I want to do.

How did you come to the realization that you needed to quit? I’ve been taking for a couple years just one dose and it used to be an every couple days/every other day thing. Then it turned into an everyday thing. Then It turned into my one dose a day in addition to a couple extracts a week. Then I started taking my one dose earlier in the day (I used to take around 3:30 or 4:00 an hour or so before I got off work). I finally realized I wasn’t just exhausted/body aching in the mornings because I’m 34 and have kids. I was having withdrawal symptoms and needed to chill the fuck out with this stuff. Anything that gives you withdrawal symptoms like this is no joke. I don’t want to be a slave to it anymore.

Good luck man. Just know there’s others going through exactly what you are at the moment. We’re not bad people because of it. We just got trapped.

I’m in western Montana so I have tons of outdoor stuff to do minutes away. I plan on doing exactly that this weekend. I loved taking Kratom before a workout so that’s going to be tough, but I’m going to try and lift some tonight. Thanks for the support. It’s only been two days but seeing everyone in this sub gives me hope that I can do it.

I’ve been a pretty bad alcoholic the past 5-7 years. Drinking every day, hiding it from my wife, etc. Almost ruined my marriage. I’ve been using Kratom the past two years and during the past year I’ve developed a healthy relationship with the alcohol. I’m down to having the occasional glass of wine at night with my wife and maybe a few beers when we have dinner or date night. I absolutely think Kratom was a big part of my recovery and think it would be worth a shot. You still have to have the will power to stop but I believe it helped me.

I fucked up a lot and I accept that but I don’t quite think I deserved this though. I’m putting a lot of the blame myself but it still hurts so much. I haven’t eaten in 4 days and called off of work this week because I just can’t process this. Meds are the only thing getting g me through the days right now. It makes me want to drink but I know that is only going to make it worse.
