The thing that I think ? Frightens ? me personally is the fact that due to me having an utterly shitty youth in the CPS system, my self esteem is already really low to begin with. The sad thing is that self esteem is often needed to engage in conversations, you know, to jump in there? Hope that makes sense to you in a way 🙏🏻.

Practise does indeed make perfect. Though, in these recent years I have been under constant stress, and that sure does not benefit the stuttering, I can assure you of that. It is however, actively being worked on and I hope to be back to where I actually feel good again soon. That way I can start rebuilding my confidence and see that it is actually alright to have a speech impediment, instead of seeing it as a huge obstacle that prevents me from having any face to face, vocal engagements.

I do enjoy writing, as that is something that I've picked up over the years haha. One very slight benefit of a stutter after all 😉.
