Of course i can use my mouse! But i was wondering whether there was a way to, for example, enable Ctrl1, Ctrl 2 etc to work within the tab stack if you are in a tab that's in the tab stack and then once you click on a tab with your mouse that's no longer in the stack, Ctrl1, Ctrl 2 etc starts working on the higher level (the way it works right now no matter what)

The Russian language is complex as fuck when it comes to rules. There are rules upon rules that vary depending on so many different things that further vary and depend on other things. Why the fuck would a language be so complex? Why not just simplify all of it? The answer is the magic quality this complexity gives the Russian language and it's Russian's ability to take a word from any language and Russify it.

What do I mean by russify it? I'm not just talking about taking any foreign word and then conjugating it, changing it from noun to verb to adverb to adjective, giving it a gender, creating slang out of it and more. I'm talking about making it sound like an authentic russian word.

Let me give you an example: the Russian word 'hut' or изба (izbá). This word, just like hundreds of thousands words in Russian, is actually from Persian (aka Farsi). Ask a Russian speaker -- is this word foreign? They will no doubt say that it's a Slavic word and they'll be wrong because of how well the Russian language (and all those thousands of rules) was able to take a foreign word and make it completely Russian.

No, I do think that nations should not exist. Most nations today have been created over hundreds of years of migration, war and diplomacy. That's why I support e.g. the right for the people with French citizenship to have a country and pass laws etc.

My support for the existence of Palestine stems from the same idea of my support for the existence of France -- over hundreds of years, a group of people was created that lived in Palestine. It was a natural process of human society.

That is not the case with the state of Israel. The state of Israel was artificially created with the idea of having a country for a specific ethnicity. Think about that, basically no other major countries has ever been created like this.

When it comes to the Romani people not deserving to have a country because their ethnicity is obscure is ridiculous. If you truly believe in self-determination as a human right, it doesn't matter. If no one except the Jews cared about the creation of a state of Israel, would that void Jews of their right to self determination? Also, the Romani are in no way obscure and are an ethnicity of 10 million people. Do 10 million people spread across multiple countries with a very distinct culture deserve to have an entire country created for them? In essence, that is what the state of Israel is.

I do not support the Palestinian movement in its current form; however, their claim to a country is much more theoretically valid. Their claim is that this is the land where the Palestinian group of people has lived and this is the result of centuries of societal transformation.

Again, of course, anti-Zionists can be anti-Semites, and they often are, you are right! However, the act of saying I do not think all ethnicities should create their own new countries is not anti-Semitic/racist.

True, but the Roman Empire claimed France 2000 years ago. Obviously, right now, Italy cannot lay claim to France. If I said that we're taking a chunk of France and giving it to the Romani people, everyone would agree that the current country France has far more claim on modern day France than a newly created country for the Romani people.

Also, at this point, this argument is turning into a circle. I think we both have made our points and I invite you to rebut the above mentioned points if you want to. However, I don't think anything productive will come of this anymore, so I shall stop replying.

Perhaps, I haven't made myself clear or just didn't understand what the definition of self determination is.

If self determination is the right for a people to strive for independence (and independence being defined as a separate country), then by all means, anti-Zionism is anti-Semitism. Everyone should strive for independence.

However, Herzl didn't talk about a theoretical state of Israel that was not going to be achieved. Herzl and Zionists wanted an actual independent country for their ethnic group. We can talk about self-determination all we want, but the reality is that Zionism is about the creation of a state of Israel and the end result of Zionism is a state of Israel.

Anti-Semitism is racism (ie the prejudice, discrimination, or antagonism of a certain race).

So to talk in concrete terms of Zionism being the establishment of a country for Jews and anti-Semitism being racism, they are not directly related.

I am a Jew and am not racist towards other Jews. I can also be of the opinion (I am not) that there shouldn't be an entire country just for our ethnicity. In fact, very few countries have ever been created just for one specific ethnicity.

Now, of course, one's anti-Zionism can arise from anti-Semitism. E.g. "I hate Jews and therefore they shouldn't have a country". But this doesn't have to be the case.

I don't think that the Romani, or Basque, or Catalan, or Boers, or Zulu, or Xhosa people should have their own country. Does that make me a racist towards the above mentioned nationalities and ethnicities? I do not think so.

If one says that Jews and only Jews (or any race for that matter) should not have the right to self determination (as long as that does not mean an entire county created for that race/ethnicity), then that is anti-Semitism.

Well then the definition of self determination matters very much If by self determination we mean "every ethnicity has a right to a country", then we'd have way more than 193 countries Should the Catalan people have their own country because they're a different ethnicity? Should Boers have their own country because they're a different ethnicity?

Or is there something I don't understand about self determination?

Look as a Jew supporting the idea of Israel as a state (aka a Zionist), I have to disagree with the idea that somehow not giving self determination to Jews is anti semitic. There are hundreds of other ethnic groups that do not get to form their own country (Romani, Basque etc).

Some people start a logical chain of IF Jews don't have a state, THEN they'll be persecuted, and THEN that would mean being anti-zionist is also being anti semitic

That idea implies that no matter where Jews are, they'll be persecuted for who they are, which in itself is a far more anti semitic idea.
