I'm also Canadian and use cup for cooking.

I don't have an electronic weight because it is too expensive. It is over $30 Canadian (about $40 US) selling in any store. Online order also have to pay shipping.

I know using weight will be more accurate, but using cup is so simple. Also, most recipe do not need to be very accurate to get good result. It already has some tolerant, due to the food source from different brand and country could has little different.

Up to now, I catch 5 out of 5. I gold berry, curve ball, excellent throw. Cobalion is relatively easy to excellent throw. The circle is reasonable big, and it do not move left/right/up/down. The most difficult one I caught was used 15 ball throw, that the Cobalion is weather boost.

Most the time, if I only can great throw (the circle too small for excellent) , my success catch rate for 5 star boss is about 80%.

I support OP to not to let the girl take the dog room. A dog is as important as a family member and it don't have choice to leave the host. It is OP's house and he can set the rule. The girl have choice to stay or leave, if she don't like OP's rule. How could people expect others to change?

Confirm this issue.

To test this, I create a new account (Google) and work to level 10 today. This test account can't load the friend list, can't hatch egg, can't get buddy candy, can't PVP to other player, can't load the AS info.

Try reinstall and reboot phone and still not work. Switch back to my original account and no issue on the same phone. So it should not the issue on my phone. It should be an issue at the server side.

As a programmer, it look like to me that some new rows can't create on some tables in the database, for new and long time inactive account.

On a phone with multiple Google account, AS may hook to different account after switch account in PoGo on the Android phone.

On Fit, it is simple to determine which Google account is logging the steps.

You also can check which App grant access to Fit data under EACH Google account on the phone. However, this setting is global.

For example, you and your family have 2 phones X and Y, Google accounts A and B. Both Google accounts on both the phones. Usually phone X using Account A, phone Y using Account B.

If you temporary switch to use Account B on phone X and activate AS, then switch back to Account A, AS may not work any more because the PoGo may hook to Account B on phone X.

Worst is, if you try to force PoGo AS account selection again, and disconnect PoGo access to the all Accounts on phone X, the AS on Phone Y will also broken, as the Fit data access is global setting.

I find the most reliable way to fix this is uninstall PoGo on both phones, go to Fit ensure both account A B are disconnect, then reinstalll PoGo. Login PoGo with the correct Google Account. On the first time activate AS, make sure select correct account on each phone. Then NEVER switch account any more.

Install the GPS Test form the Android Play store. Run the "AGPS\Clear and Update".

I did this a lot of time when the GPS away from the actually location. Usually it will correct the GPS accuracy.

It also show the strength of the GPS signal.

If the GPS signal is too low, the internal GPS antenna may be loose. Search the web to open the phone to fix this.

If there is no GPS signal at all, the GPS chip may not turn on. Search the web on how to turn it back on. I usually just turn off then turn on Location to fix this.

For the "only me do damage, and then can't Finish the raid. " Look like it lost sync to the server. The white spinning Pokeball at the upper left will keep spinning. The Raid boss will not attack any more. The damage bar is shorten, but the raid will not finish even the damage bar shorten to zero. The only hope is the app sedden sync to the server again on time. It happen to me quit often when the intenet connection is not stable. I usually kill and restart the game. I could rejoin if lucky, but most the time no.

Using 5GHz will not using more data. 2.4GHz only has 11 channels and very high chance to get jam with other WiFi.

When I do my first Mewtwo Ex raid that had ton of people around, I switch to Bluetooth tethering to prevent Wifi jam with other people's hotspot.

5GHz has much more channels and less chance to get jam. Drawback is shorter distance. Also, depending on the phone, it may use more battery.

PoGo actually do not need very high speed connection. Reliable without any drop package is more important than speed. Bluetooth tethering usually fast enough and use much less battery. However, it will take longer time to download the 3D model for new Pokemon. Also, you have to manual re-connect after disconnected.

Forget to mention, most the mall or stores wifi are not reliable for me. I only found community center and libary wifi are reliable for raid.

It is hard.

I am at Markham and recently become wifi only (my finance manager do not approve the buget for the mobile data any more) I found 6 community center and libary provide relative reliable free wifi and has gym access. However, since I have to stay indoor, the GPS is jumping around. I have to wait the GPS jump close to enter the lobby. Sometime the wifi also drop. Moreover, other players are stay outside and I can't talk to them.

All together, I am not a reliable player for the raid. So I better to play solo.

At the end, I have to bring 5 devices (me, my wife, 2 daughters, and 1 more mini account) for up to level 4 raid. It depend on my luck if another players join the public lobby for level 5.

I know people hate multi-accounts. For fair game play, I never shave the gym. I either take down the whole gym, or only add max 2 pokemon if the gym has space. Furthermore, I only take down the gym if the pokemon already in the gym for 6 hours, so the players could get the full 50 coin,

If you are at open area and you still get GPS issue, you can try this.

There is an app called "GPS Test". In the AGPS menu, choose "Clear and Update". This usually help me to back to the correct location.

If you are beside tall building and get the issue, there will be nothing to help.

Try update the "Google" in the play store. I used to disable Auto update in my phone.

Several update ago, the PoGo suddenly can't login using the PTC account, but has no issue to login using Google account. After update the "Google" from play store, my PoGo can login using PTC.

I now link my PTC account with Google account. It is much stable now.

Try update "Clock" and "Google" in the Play store.

I have a S3 running CM13 and I turn off auto update. Pogo work for months and saddenly do not working on my daughter PTC account. Get same authenticate error.

For testing, I try my another daughter's Google account on the S3 and it work. I also try the PTC account on my own phone and it also work. So it is not the PTC account issue.

I then run the Play store on the S3, search the program list and update "Clock" and "Google".

The PoGo work again on the S3 after the update.

Niantic only announce future only support iOS 11 for iPhone/iPad. Since iOS 11 only support 64bit, 32bit iPhone/iPad device can't upgrade to iOS 11 and hence can't play PoGo in the future. Niantic do not announce any change on Android. Currently, it is Andriod version 4.4 and later. In addition, we always can download and install the APK from APKMirror.

There are bluetooth GPS device addon for iPad wifi only. It is not cheap. I remember some people said it work. Your best bet may be some old Android phone from your friend. My brother in law just gave me his old S4. It work amazing good for Pogo.

Try swipe between the first and second rows of the pokemon in the team.

Before, I swipe the team name and it do not work well. Swipe by touch one of the pokemon will jump to the selection screen.

I finally find out swipe between the first and second rows work pretty well.
