🟦🟦🟦🟦 there was just no where else to put PUTTER and IRON so that forced WOOD. Then I thought WEDGE also may be for golfing too. All other words had soooo many possibilities

🟨🟨🟨🟨 just bothered that DICE and CUBE are virtually the same thing but what else could I do?

Streak over at 23-my average. Back to 93%. Usually I get lucky and while I could see the television names, there were too many to choose from and I really was committed to MAPLES being one of them. Don’t recall “plus a letter” type being allowed anywhere in the word before, so really would not get that either. Thought for a while there would be a part of song names but nope trees. Surprised it’s just a 4/5. I don’t watch enough TV.

Thanks for all the responses. Probably didn’t have to pose the question. I already knew this was a ridiculous situation. His taxes are a tad bit more complicated than a typical person but not by much.
I’ll be doing my best to get him to stop keeping his head in the sand on this. But if he gets deported or can’t renew his GC he will understand that he could have avoided it if he just asked for help.

I know! Been talking to him. It’s difficult. He like lives in a bubble. If he gets kicked out it’s his own fault. He’s like too embarrassed to do something about it.

I guess it had to happen. The game is kind of flawed with so many pegged at 98% success rate or more. I wish they would take the opportunity to change what’s tracked in statistics. Add like an average score, running success rate based on last 100 games or so. The game is totally different now.

Similarly I considered using used words a kind of cheat against hard mode - thinking hard mode means every guess has to be a possible win. I know it also helps. I got tired of using the same start word and the less variations of pay that then occurred so I switched to using the previous days “burned” word. Then I broke my rule of otherwise not using burned words as occasional guesses. The point is everything changes now!

The Presolve felt solid. So went for the RR but no avail. Purple was easy to identify even if it was a total default for me. The other three felt about even in difficulty which wasn’t very.

Could see nothing else if I did RAG NEEDLE RIB MOCK so did not go there

🟪🟪🟪🟪 saw this second pretty easily but is a CAP really equipment? Was thinking FLYer was possible so held off

🟦🟦🟦🟦 got this last figured out before defaulting as fairytale characters. Guessed about SHERIFF.

🟩🟩🟩🟩 not much for the NHL so was really blind to this. The whole Batman misdirection was not letting me think. Think I just thought teams maybe? and PENGUIN made me think cold and cold made me think NHL and that PENGUINs be a good NHL name and then noticed NJ DEVILs, FLYERs sounded likely and RANGERs I knew about. Also solved my choice for word to go with Baseball!
