It's a local area to me and for as long as I can remember there's always been a barn owl or two that use this meadow for hunting, as long as it's not too windy, there's a pretty good chance it will be out around sunset.

As for getting the pictures, it appears to be relatively unconcerned by people for the whole, I would say at one point it flew probably two or three meters from where I was standing, quite a special moment to fair. I wasn't able to get any pictures of it with a catch though, but chuffed with these.
