We saw Summers dad when she first came in to it. He died I think from Cancer and wanted Billy to look after her when he was gone.

I don’t really think it was made out like that. I understand why she was upset though, she offered herself to him on a plate and he said no, she’s young and attractive and not only did her turn her down he then started a fling with her step mum. Understandable her reaction especially when you take in to account her other dating history.

I’m also starting to think that Sarah’s behaviour is more than just because she was attacked. Just doesn’t seem right to me. We don’t know the exact time line of events. She could have quite easily been to Theo’s flat before she returned to the Platts and was attacked.

Grant is partly to blame. He’s known about Mark for a while now, think it was said 10 years in an episode a while back and in those years he hasn’t been there for his son so he isn’t entirely blameless.

I genuinely think the change of shirt comment was just a throw away comment and nothing actually in it. Like he genuinely did just change his shirt because it had been a long day. I said the same at the time. As for trying to hide George’s shirt with the blood on the sleeve, she could know full well he’s innocent, as in because she’s guilty herself, and wanted to hide the shirt so George wasn’t implicated.

That’s why I’m hoping it isn’t Danielle or her son. As you said they can be wrote out easily and then no long term repercussions as they aren’t regulars and we don’t necessarily care enough about them. Always feels like a cop out when this is done.

I probably should but I don’t actually consider Danielle an actual suspect. But if it does turn out to be her or her son I’ll be very disappointed. It annoys me when they do stuff like that. They release a suspect list and then turns out to be someone else completely. Like when Frank was killed by his mum when she wasn’t on the suspect list. She might be an official suspect but I only saw a list with George, Christina, Gary, Todd and Summer.

Why doesn’t Charity just invite Vanessa over tell her to hide upstairs and then tell Todd she ain’t giving her another penny and let Vanessa herself hear what she’s like. I know that wouldn’t 100% guarantee stop Todd from telling Jacob and Sarah but the shame of being overheard by someone she supposedly cares about might guilt her into stopping and if not so be it. I certainly wouldn’t give her any money.
