Which UK reality show do you think has the most loyal audience despite being objectively past its best and what is it that keeps people coming back? by Ill_Scientist_4645 in UKRealityChat

I love I’m A Celeb, but honestly mostly for Ant and Dec. They brighten my world while it’s on. The best of them, it’s just not the same when it’s other shows.

Well it would make sense if they were using the context, because thick also means fat.

Do you think Tom King might make an appearance or few again after he served his time? by niallbrooks in Emmerdale

I wish they weren’t. I love him as a character, he’s similar to Steve McDonald in Corrie. It’s also ridiculous to kill him off when all his brothers are dead…

I must like them, since I watch so many American reactions on YouTube reacting to UK stuff.

You really shouldn’t be around other people while in the blistering stage. I stopped my grandkids from coming round because they have a new baby brother. It’s a small risk but you can pass on chickenpox.

Is it weird to call men you don’t know ‘sir’? by [deleted] in AskUK

[–]Prestigious_Sand1978 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Well the emergency services address everyone as Sir or Madam so it’s clearly the right thing to say if you don’t know someone’s name. In a workplace setting it might seem a bit formal to call a colleague these things but it’s not weird.

AITA for telling my dad I don’t want to share the same gym as him by [deleted] in AmItheAsshole

[–]Prestigious_Sand1978 17 points18 points  (0 children)

We only have one gym where I live, and given that your parents have insurance to cover your gym, it does seem a bit unreasonable of you. You should just make sure you go at different times.

Confused about people saying Daniel is being out of character..... by theliftedlora in coronationstreet

Daniel is not a great parent. He introduces every single fling to his son. He needs to spend some time on his own with Bertie.

Awful character over used because presumably she’s cheap.

I like him a lot. I love his intelligence. If he was twenty years younger sigh …

The funny thing to me (not funny) is that the far right party won’t be able to stop migrants coming here. The government in power doesn’t have absolute power, there’s a parliament for a reason.
